Gong will make you a better rep - especially as companies go remote

- AI has a little ways to go, some of the data can be off
- Similar for transcripts, words can be a little off - still, not a huge downfall, because you can easily find exactly what part of the conversation you can to review in the recording if needed

What do you dislike about the product?
Dont try to be a CRM tool. Focus on the platform and more conversation analytics. Not deal management

solving how we can help our reps tweak their game. we've realized significant benefits in our SMB teams who are trying to take on sales!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just invest. Let go of thinking "oh god I'm recorded now"

Love the integration with Zoom and the fact that I can reference any call I've had in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it doesn't offer transcript for other languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to jump into a sales cycle at any point and catching up thanks to Gong.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using this as a personal coaching tool for myself. Being able to hear the conversation and see talk ratios/stats is super helpful in bettering myself as a sales rep.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike so far - it's been easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Determining what I can do better, and areas where I need to improve. For example, I've noticed in the past few weeks my sales have been down a bit, and with Gong I can play back those calls to see what I've changed, notice patterns, and use that to get back on track!

do it! you won't regret it.

I love that I can easily go back and listen to all of my sales calls. I also love how there is coaching and it monitors how much I talk vs the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how some times it doesn't capture my words correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of forgetting things I spoke about with clients because I can now go back. This also helps me to see what I am doing wrong and how to improve.

Sometimes some of the calls are only one-sided.

Going back and listening to any notes I made in calls. Has fantastic benefits for improving.
A good Sales Intelligence platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automated transcription functionality and the ability to search within the calls. I also like the various little things that are very helpful, like the ability to make small snippets and organize them into folders and the call breakdown bar by topic of what's being discussed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike here, just that some links do not always work, even in the main menu - it will give an error for some reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it's understanding our customers and what they need so we can make better ads addressing those topics.

The insights and reporting, it makes everything so easy! Our team can measure the impact of the conversations and create key improvement points.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the topics in the recordings were more accurate, sometimes they are confusing or not accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our interactions with customers using clear KPIs was difficult, since there's some degree of subjectivity for human interactions. But with Gong is possible to understand in general lines what's going on.

Use the reporting as much as you can!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has a lot of fancy features that analyze your cadence and such, but what i find most useful is how it auto-starts on all my calls. I don't have to push the record button on Zoom. The other great feature is the sharing. I can share not only whole calls, but snippets of calls with my customers/prospects if needed. That is traditionally one of the hardest things to do with tools like Zoom etc. No one wants to listen to a whole call just to find the 3 minutes that are important to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where the recording doesn't join my call and I'm not sure why. I haven't figured out the pattern. It can be annoying because to get gong on your call it takes what seems to be a few minutes, which can be awkward waiting on the line with a customer for gong to join in because the customer wants the call recorded. Could be a me thing, but it's inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My biggest problem I solve is the forgetting what I spoke about with a prospect when the last time we chatted was 4 weeks ago. I quickly review the call and go in sounding like i know everything about our last interaction.

The follow-up emails sent after the call to help track action items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Customers often have questions, It would be great for users to have an FAQ that could be sent to customers to answer questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving quality problems and making sure that action items are documented. Helps with focus on calls, since I can go back and review, I can concentrate on the call and worry about the notes later.

Figure out the international use case, may not work in some countries.
