Love being able to review and collaborate with the team!
What do you like best about the product?
I have enjoyed having Gong as a great way to collaborate with my team members on their calls, learn and also review my own calls to know where I can improve and what's working well. It's a great way to review quick stats on some things we may forget, like how much we are talking compared to our prospects and even how much time we are pausing between questions, little things that make a huge difference!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any issues with Gong as of now!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to review my own calls and focus on things I can improve on, listen to my own responses and how I'm doing overall and also listen to my colleagues calls, and learn from some of the conversations they're having and how they're handling certain objections.

The word by word feedback is great! It allows insight into each call and great for review.

The website layout could be a bit cleaner, seems a little jumbled

Problems being solved are tracking completed calls. Great benefits are tracking the calls

Layout can be a bit busy. There are so many features that you sometimes don't know all the possibilites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note taking. This is really helping me with remembering calls and finding what I promised I'd follow up on.

I get a real time example of what my calls with clients should look like. My managers have great examples picked out and they are easy for me to find within Gong
Gong really drives insights and allows for better coaching
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Gong allows you to completely analyze your calls as well as other calls from people in your organization. It allows for complete transparency and drives better conversations as you move through the sales process. Nobody has the ability to transcribe all the details from a phone call within their personal notes. Gong solves for this by keeping a digital record of everything discussed and you can even go back through and tag spots in the call that matter most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. Gong is simple and clean to use. I have experience with other call recorders and Gong especially for sales works very well.

Better note taking, collaboration, coaching for future interactions, case studies

Definitely give it a good look! It can really be an improvement to your processes.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the metrics. They help me to determine when I need to talk less and have given me insight into how to engage our clients better throughout the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to ENSURE that the sales person and the client are dialed in separately. It is better now that almost everyone is working remotely but when the sales person is on site, it throws off my call metrics.

I have been able to tailor my talk tracks specifically to the client type and needs and have more impactful conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to sort through the call quickly and analyze key phrases or talking points. This helps reps get a better understanding of where they excel but more importantly where there is room for improvement. Gong also filters different sectors of the conversation which makes breaking down the entire call (price, introduction, competitors, etc.) much easier to digest.
The usability and interface makes it easy to connect with Salesforce as well. No nee to spend time looking for specific calls when they are already linked to an account.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where the recording will start late or end early, but this is most likely user error. Overall there are no glaring issues with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of not being able to get better with every call we make. The benefits are listening to top performers, analyzing quality questions and implementing new techniques and strategies on our own calls which ultimately leads to more opportunities being created.
It is also a tremendous opportunity to listen to yourself and generate constructive feedback from managers and peers. Being able to listen to a situation that took place, re-create the conversation and try new tactics, questions or pivot the entire thing is very important for the next call and all calls going forward.

It is the best available software for training sales reps and driving more deal closes. Vitally important for professional development and collaboration within a sales team.
Invaluable Tool To Support Daily Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The seamless integration with daily-used productivity tools like Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Webex and more. The Transcript feature significantly reduces time for referencing. Clarify of audio and video recordings. Ability to schedule ahead of time. I like how I can skip to the next speaker when listening to a recording. I like how I can easily share with a colleague in my organization. I like how I can snip parts of the recording and share only the snipped part of the recording. I like how Gong continues to provide industry insight and has positioned itself as a trusted source for data-driven, proven strategies to improve sales outcomes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Voice-to-text is good but could be better. The button to access the call transcript should be more prominent. When starting a Teams meeting, Gong forces itself into the meeting without waiting for approval to Admit. I'd like to make it easier to include Gong into a meeting on adhoc basis as the meeting is being conducted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mentoring support, to reference mentor calls for training and learning. Gong recordings makes it easier to on-board project resources that are joining in the middle of the project. When creating project deliverables, the transcript makes it easy to reference key topics discussed. Gong is particularly useful to review successful sales calls that other Directors have had. I often request the Directors to share the calls that resulted in a signed contract, so I can emulate the approach and tactics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend taking the time to familiarize yourself with the tool. It will prove to be your best friend, especially if you are a service provider to global clients. Sometimes with larger online meetings, especially in the pandemic, it is difficult to take notes on all the important topics discussed. If you have familiarity with Gong, it becomes easy to quickly refer back to the call and determine the appropriate next course of action based on a better understanding of the scope of the call.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to go back and read the transcription of what was said. The fact that subject matters are labeled for easy access to timestamps is a total game changer. I always end up picking up a small detail every single time I go back and relisten to my client conversations and pitches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally the only thing I dislike is the announcement of the gong recorder at the beginning of my zoom calls. Always makes for a nice awkward pause as soon as the client joins the call prior to engaging in conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel like i am able to holistically revisit conversations in order to provide maximum value and further show my attention to detail for my customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend if someone wishes their team to get more of an understanding of talk ratio's topics and conversation details. The ability for management to coach reps on skills remotely is extremely helpful and doesn't have the "big brother" type feel.
Brilliant Insights Lead to Solid Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
In the past, I have reviewed calls and received feedback from managers that are not directly connected to real, tangible moments between myself and a customer. With Gong, my manager and I can pinpoint exact moments and words that I use that make the moments on the phone stand out. It has made my learning and growth exponentially easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcriptions with Gong aren't accurate, but with time it learns more of my own speaking tendencies and can more accurately transcribe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a few silos that the impressions of calls can live in: in my own head (did that feel good/bad?), in my manager's head (when they listen to a call), in the customer's head (what did they leave with feeling?), and in the recorded version of the call.
Gong solves the siloing of these impressions by bringing the conversation into one space, allowing me to perform better.

Ever wonder what makes someone feel great after a phone call with your team? Does training and implementing strategy for calls feel daunting or over complicated? Is there a lack of insight in your company as to why things are going the way they're going during your calls?
Gong will help.
Gong gives insight, suggestions and data on the performance of your team during calls. As an individual contributor, I find it immensely valuable to have a breakdown of everything I could possibly think of to help me perform better and serve customers at a higher level.
