Great Tool for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
Great product four our sales team. Helps evaluate our calls and saves the hassle of taking notes

Constant logging out of Gsuite and email

What do you like best about the product?
- Ability to understand which part of your sales pitch is resonating most with customers and hear how they talk about which problems they're trying to solve (in their own words)
- Ability to track on key words (like feature names, case studies, competitors, etc.) and get metrics on their usage
- Transcripts are great - especially as something to refer back to after customer calls. Also helps so you can focus on the conversation instead of furiously writing notes

Would love to have this data integrate into more of our tools for better tracking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding trends that are happening in the field. As PMM, we can't be on every customer call, but Gong makes it really easy to catch up on what your sales and CX team are hearing so you can spot trends and adjust messaging as needed. Also, very helpful for our sales enablement and training iniatives.
The best call/deal review software out there and it's not even close
What do you like best about the product?
Easy interface, super easy to pick up and get rolling. We switched to a competitor a year or so ago, and immediately our Sales team wanted Gong back. Their Customer Engagement is also unlike anything else you will see out there, can't recommend them enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search bar can be a bit tricky but for all I know that could be due to my integration. Truthfully I have next to no complaints or dislikes about this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to go back and listen to certain calls on days where you are slammed with meetings and other tasks is crucial to making sure all of my bases are covered. In addition, the ability to listen to calls of my superiors and learn from them has been immensely valuable in my SDR role.
The best call review/sales coaching tool I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Gong separates the call out by person talking so you can easily skip to the sections of the call you need to listen to again. I also like the comment feature where you can tag people in a comment at a specific time during the call so you can be surgical with your coaching. It's been very helpful to coach my BDR as we target accounts together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcribing software could use some work, it is inaccurate and inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives me the ability as a sales rep to go back to calls I had previously with clients and brush up on their concerns, their goals, and their vocabulary. This helps me be more effective as a rep on my next call, especially when a lot of time can go by in between client touchpoints.
Gong also helps you give tactical coaching, not on a "call level" but on a line by line level of what reps are saying. This helps them target areas of improvement.

Super helpful for deal tracking and training
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can get on calls with clients and not have to take notes because the meeting is automatically recorded and transcribed for me. It's a super easy integration with our email tracking and Salesforce, and I don't even know how it work but it gets the job done. The recordings are also vital for training new hires. It's also extremely easy and intuitive to navigate, which makes me want to actually use it. I use the app as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription isn't perfect, but that may be because I talk really fast. I also don't use the post-call insights, so I can't speak to the accuracy of those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to stay on top of my opportunities and calls. It's a huge time savings for me and really helps me optimize my efforts.

As a new rep at a fast-growing organization, Gong has helped me: 1) review calls, 2) learn from my peers (without bugging them), 3) go back and collect additional notes and details from my customers for strong follow-up and customization, 4) review calls from previous opportunities in my accounts to write personalized outbound messages to re-engage, and 5) great coaching tips for strong sales calls

Customer Discovery Process Made Easier
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can continue the customer discovery process asynchronously without interfering with the Sales call. It's easy to provide Sales with a list of questions I want answered from specific potential customers, and then listen to the recording to understand how they react to those questions. The analytics/insight per call is also useful where it's easy to understand what topics have been discussed. So I don't waste time listening to a call that doesn't matter to me. I also love how certain portion of the call can be highlighted and shared with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a feature where we can listen in on an active call without others noticing. This feature lags extremely and isn't as smooth as the recording. Would love to see this evolve in the future. Additionally, continuing on the same chain of thought on the customer discovery process, if there is a feature to ping my team members with questions on an active call that I'm shadowing, that might be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the customer discovery process - trying to understand what are the pains of a customer, and how we can work on solving those problems. So far, it has been easy to listen to the challenges from the customers directly (or through a recording).

The best tool for recording, reviewing and sharing meetings
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search by any component of a meeting is key to how we use Gong. I'm able to easily find calls from months back and easily find the parts that I need to listen to. I also really love the transcript feature with hyperlinks/references to the time in the call. That has been very helpful to search for a key word or phrase and easily listen to that section of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video quality of the recordings could be a little better. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. Some of the navigation and layout isn't as intuitive as it could be, but I haven't had too much trouble finding what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, it solves my need to get up to speed on our different customers very quickly when their project is handed off to me. I can just go search by the customer name and continue filtering/searching for exactly what I need to hear.
Secondly, my customers have gotten use to Gong recordings and actively request call recordings on a normal basis. So not only has Gong helped me when I need it, my customers are seeing the benefit too.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it even for meetings that you don't think you need to - it can really be a life saver! Rather than frantically taking notes during a meeting, you can feel free to be more engaged knowing that you can always revisit key points or shared screens later on.
Great for training and sales development
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to go to an account and see every interaction I have had with this account. It is easy to go back and find the information you may have missed previously. I also like the training it provides like talk track, run-on sentences, etc.

There is nothing I dislike. I use Gong almost daily and use almost every feature.

I listen to one of my calls a week to be able to critique myself.
