Amazing product!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the bomb!!! Great tool for internal teams to learn and coach each other and it's also very helpful to be able to send recorded meetings to external partners and clients. I like the ability to switch between the recorded meeting and the transcript view, the topics of interest, and the ability to share specific time stamped snippets of calls really helps. Love it!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly love everything I use it for!!! Sometimes it can be more work than I expected to search for previous calls. I am usually able to search pretty easily for the company name, but if I have to filter by date and other categories, it can take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching, support, and client communications. Internally it is helpful to be able to send specific snippets of calls to a member of my support team so that they can easily see exactly what the issue is without having to watch or sort through a full thirty minute conversation. When I train a new customer or team I am able to send them a link to the recorded training that they are able to share with anyone who wasn't able to make the live training or anyone who joins the team after the initial training. This saves a lot of my time to focus on other important tasks instead of conducting multiple training sessions. It also helps the customer because they do not have to rely on my schedule and availability to ensure all of their users are trained.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I'm able to listen to my teammates calls. It has been priceless as I continue to grow and develop not only my product knowledge, but sales skills as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Gong for a few months now and haven't found anything that I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit of listening to others has definitely been a highlight for me. I'm now beginning to utilize the sales coach functionality of it and I believe this will be tremendous as well.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can now be an active listener/participant during customer calls, instead of scrambling to take notes. I also like the way in which Gong segments the call so I can pinpoint the portion of a call that I need to reference and/or provide to other internal/external contacts
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. Gong does exactly what I need it to and haven't taken full advantage of the funcitonality to be aware of limitations and/or, feature suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems: Allows me to remember all follow-up items and deliverables owed to customers

Great product for sales and CS all together
What do you like best about the product?
I started working with Gong about a year ago, and although this product usually being mentioned in the "sales" realm, I found it very helpful to the CS job.
In our company, the customer is going through a cycle of roles before getting to the CS (SDR, AE, onboarding...) and as a CSM it is very important for me to know what is the full process and conversation that the customer had in each stage. Gong helps me to see it all in one place (I don't remember the name of the feature but it is the one with the client's time line) so by the time the customer gets to me I know everything I need

I would like a search category in "calls" to search by the customer's name

The track of our email and calls in the same place helps us to monitor better when there is an issue or an opportunity with a customer
Makes for great note taking and follow up
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to go back and review my calls. Allows me to be present in the meeting and use it to go back to and take notes, as well as learn and improve from what I could do better. Also great to see what the top reps are doing to learn from them. It was a big help in my ramp up period

I don't have any huge dislikes really, it's a pretty comprehensive and effective solution

Less written notes in the moment, more attentiveness in the meeting. Helps with training and learning. Have been able to correct areas hurting me in my calls and learn from others. Also allows me to give feedback to my colleagues

Call transcripts are the most useful because you can use CTRL+F to find exact points that you remember something being discussed.

This sounds crazy, but the branding with the dog sometimes comes off unprofessional in my eyes. Also, I've heard this from others

Not letting balls drop because I didn't have time to write something down, or missed something.

When uploading videos/audio and having them transcribed, I don't have the ability to separate who the speakers are

Having a database of calls that are easily accessible for reference to go back at any time and review call highlights, action items, and overall conversation details that can be shared internally or reviewed by managers/other team members.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it gives you both a call recording and transcription so you can quickly find various discussion topics through the course of a meeting. You can also easily share snippets of calls/videos that you have and quickly find topics or points in the call based on keywords. You have an admin view of all of the calls your team is taking as well.
The mobile app is a great way to listen to calls on the go. You can speed them up as needed which is a nice bonus when you're trying to get in and out. The comment feature that is tagged to a specific timestamp makes it wicked easy to reference an exact point within a meeting.

What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription isn't always 100% but that's the nature of it I think. You're able to export this as a PDF though which is nice.

Automatically recording meetings I take. Have an accurate record of the call for later. Sharing specific snippets of calls with relevant internal stakeholders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Demo it and you won't go back. We demo'ed it for a few days and it was a no brainer/obvious that we needed to continue to use it.
