Gong saves time, makes me a better sales person

What do you like best about the product?
Transcripts for calls to refer back to and CTRL F to search the call and action items to remind me what I told the client I would send to them/next steps. Also love the ease of sharing calls or parts of calls
What do you dislike about the product?
I am very happy with the system the only thing our previous solution had that Gong doesnt is the ability to listen to a call live in real time without being on the call or alerting the rep/client
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
remembering action items at the end of calls, being able to send a copy to customers, going back and refreshing my memory, using for call reviews, getting feedback from colleagues, being able to listen to calls from my peers, tracking keywords
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! At least try it because it is amazing.

emails of updates can be a bit much at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better self evaluation and covered words with recording options to look back on verbage and liability. Share with team for evals and improves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use for team meetings and peer evals.

Why Gong is great for outward facing teams

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the transcripts for going back and reviewing calls as well as the feedback. In particular, it makes it easy to share a call or snippet of a call with a manager or colleague which saves man hours. The fact that you can skip ahead to certain talking points is also really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only minor inconvenience I've had is having to invite gong to calls that were scheduled by someone other than me. I like that when I am the one scheduling the zoom or hangout meeting,
Gong automatically joins and that's one less thing I have to worry about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to give visibility to management and I am able to learn from watching more experienced sales peoples' calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong's usability is fantastic, the level of detail provided is just enough to keep you focused on what data matters and the software is super intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the analytics were a bit more intuitive.

We are coaching our sales team members to better manage their tone, disfluencies, and ability to balance talk time.

What do you like best about the product?
gone are the days of me jumping from call to call to give my reps feedback. I finally have time to be a manager and still give actionable and valuable feedback. PLUS- it's all documented.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing. it's easy to use and the interface is intuitive

mainly solving the problem of not enough hours in the day to give feedback

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ability to listen to calls to either gather the information I may have missed in my notes, share calls with clients when all team members can not be present and share calls with my team to gain insightful and constructive feedback. This can also be an excellent resource for being able to re-listen to a clients pain points and reiterate it back to them word for word ensuring you fully understand why they need this tool and how they will use it going forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the transcripts were a bit more accurate however, I do understand that accents, volume and microphone quality play into this as well. As I share recorded calls with clients, it would also be very helpful to get insight into who has listened to the call, perhaps having clients enter the email addresses upon clicking on the sharable link. This would help reps track who is actually going back to listen to the call. Is it a manager or a director or whether it is your main POC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am learning how to be a better consultant to my client partners. I am learning how to be a better sales person by being able to listen to the calls of my piers and how they present our company, uncover client challenges and provide effective solutions. I am also able to leverage the "stats:" to gain insight into other ways I can improve my sales skills.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and seamless to invite Gong to the call. The transcription works great. It also helps in note-taking and capturing the finer points. I have used Gong for customer testimonials. It provides great insights into the talk tracks and all the annoying filler words used in the call. It's a great tool to train SDR and AEs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything in the tool. I would suggest that Gong makes it easier to share the call recording with people who were not on the call. Also if there is a way to reduce the size of the call logs.

I love how everything gets put into written form. That way I can review and take from ALL calls from people in my org and make things my own.

What do you like best about the product?
I manage a large team of AE's and I can't be on every call,demo,pricing call,etc. but Gong gives me the ability to do that. It's amazing for us to be able to listen and review calls as well as do live coaching reviews. It's really helped us improve our messaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. At first it would log me out a lot but seems like that has been fixed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Call coaching
- Improving messaging
- Improving objection handling, talking about competition, etc
- Making sure we have unified talk tracks across the team
- Visibility into what prospects/customers are saying, what they need, what they want
- Helps product team as well in understanding what companies are asking for
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are concerned about cost the ROI will be there in the first few months. Helps in so many ways across more than just the sales team. Great software, easy to implement, helps right away!
