Not a software I want... a software I NEED!
What do you like best about the product?
As head of Sales Dev, I have the ability to quickly access and listen to calls, provide feedback, and coach my team in the most effective manner I know possible. Since we don't have any dedicated person or team to sales enablement, with Gong I can save specific calls for future rep training on how to handle X objection, or how to effectively sell against Y competitor. These recordings and the easy-to-search structure make it a critical component in our ongoing training, especially with new hires.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far; we've used Gong for about 6 months now so we're just tip-of-the-spear. I'd have to dig in deeper until I can give any critical feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching and Training my sales development team. Repository for excellent call examples, product-specific, competitor-specific, and objection-specific. Also, we save call snippets for things like "how to introduce yourself and company on a cold call", or "how to leave an effective voicemail", or "how to talk to someone after they no-showed a meeting". Again we're just tip-of-the-spear utilizing gong right now, but throughout the 1st half of 2020 I'll really get to sink my teeth in and recognize all of the value Gong has to offer. If that product value isn't enough, Gong and its employees also put out great sales thought leadership and content -- it's helped me solve several challenges I experienced myself in a brand new sales org, and has helped me learn from others' expertise.

Pull the trigger on buying gong, you won't regret it.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Gong is the fact that you don't even know it is there. Some days I am on back to back calls all day with only a 5-10 minute buffer in between and there are only so many notes you can take while being attentive to the discussion at hand. At the end of every day, I go through each recording that was emailed to me and jot down additional notes for each point of interest as well as set new goals based on my interaction stats. Not only has this helped me professionally, but my conversations outside of work have seen improvement as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike is that Gong has been labeled as a tool for sales professionals.Gong should be utilized by Sales, Client Success, Professional Services, and anyone else who wants to give a better experience to a client or whoever they interact with in a professional manner.

I say Y'ALL way too much

What do you like best about the product?
Leveraging the phone calls for review with my team. So hopeful for training and making sure we are saying the right things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints. Perhaps just make key word searching easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training, mentoring, learning what our clients want, learning how to script our conversations better, and overall utilizing this tool as our main source of building a library for our team.

Great product that if used will help your team with learning how to approach and change how they are selling. You will find better ways to pitch your products and change the language used to help build new business.
I don't know what I did before Gong
What do you like best about the product?
It just sits in the background doing all my note taking for me. My prospects often ask for recordings and it make is super simple to shoot them the link. I don't know that I'd work for a sales org that didn't have Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the voice that chimes in on the calls and sometimes it's a little late to calls but those are outweighed, by far, by the benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up to date with deals and making my clients think I remember everything but I just have Gong ;)
Amazing product
What do you like best about the product?
Easily you can evaluate calls/meetings. If I miss any important meetings, I can go back and listen to all the calls and pick any individual's conversation If I Just want to listen to someone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally (less than 1% of the times) it doesn't record or start the recording at the middle of the call

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Gong for the past year now and as a newbie in the SaaS sales industry, Gong recordings were vital in expanding my product knowledge through listening/viewing my AE's previous calls with prospects. The recordings are clear and easily accessible. The call transcriptions and topic breakdown by speaker are also impressive - makes coaching/learning much easier in case there is one area of the call that needs more work than the others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike from my experience - only thing I find a bit annoying/out of place would be the inconsistency of the "This call will now be recorded" in the beginning of the call - sometimes it starts once the prospect arrives or is delayed until someone begins speaking. Nonetheless, everything else performs as expected!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong's impressive AI to breakdown calls by topic makes Gong's recording capabilities head and shoulders above the rest. Whether it's for coaching or product knowledge, Gong provides everything needed to be successful in improving your team!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are plenty of call recording software solutions on the market, but I have yet to encounter any that transcribe calls and break them down by topic - makes coaching/learning much easier than having to listen to an entire call or skipping around to find the specific part of the call that is needed.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the transcript, although it's not perfect. I love how easy and straight forward it is to use. Simple to navigate and find mine or or my colleagues recordings. And the recordings are sharable externally. Great!

The transcriber could be a whole lot better.

What do you like best about the product?
As an SDR, I love reviewing my calls with a prospect. I am able to listen to my calls for peer reviews and see my transcript of my conversation for note-taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The written transcript isn't always correct, but it's a minor dislike. It definitely does 80-90% of the work for me!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Peer reviews and note-taking helps me out the most.

What do you like best about the product?
Sales is hard enough... having a system for coaching, call recording and transcribing frees up so much more time. We all know time is money... which is why Gong is worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don’t like about Gong is the notifications on the Mobile App... not easy to figure out how to make them go away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s hard to always take perfect notes - Gong is there for me to ensure that I never miss a beat. It’s also amazing for learning from more seasoned reps and obviously for being coached as well!

Gong is the best training tool I've had the opportunity to use.

I love Gong's intelligent topic categorization (being able to search calls by topic, phrases, words, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate how looooong it takes for Gong calls to be loaded. It's almost impossible to make a call and review it the same day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to ACTIVELY LISTEN (and therefore have better conversations) with my clients and potential clients, because I'm not focused on notating every detail. Gong has also given me the ability to not only learn from my colleagues calls, but also from MY OWN!!
