Sales and marketing must have

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to be get the most important information out of every prospect / customer call without having to actually listen to each call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't say there is anything I dislike, but there are some areas of improvement in regards to editing before you share the recording with a prospect or customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to use the language our prospects/customers use to improve our messaging. The ability to help with sales coaching and team lessons learned.

What do you like best about the product?
As a salesperson, being able to quickly analyze my delivery / talk time and prospect feedback is critical..Gong makes this easy. Also, being able to send the recording out to a prospect makes my life much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
Hearing myself! Can Gong can make my voice sound like George Clooney?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to dissect my delivery, ways in which I overcome objections and percentage of talk time are critical components that Gong helps me with

What do you like best about the product?
I work in sales and do a lot of calls. I'm not the best note taker so It's great to have Gong record the call for future reference. I also love how it integrates with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
No Issues. I can't think of anything that has been a problem for me.

Amazing!

What do you like best about the product?
I think the ability to transcribe calls is the best feature. Being a new hire for a company and having the ability to tap into what the best sales are doing and exactly what they are saying on the calls is absolutely incredible and helps internal growth a lot. I did not know something like this existed, and in my previous job, I would have loved to have something like this to use during my team making sales or going through training. It keeps everything very organized and easy to use. I look forward to using this in my future with my current company and all the growth I will gain from it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the transcribing call feature needs a little bit of work as to being accurate. A lot of time there is a lot of editing that needs to be done to make sense of what certain parts of the conversation says.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to learn what the best sales reps are doing on their calls. I have listened to many calls with our top sales and seeing where they are having successes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! You definitely want to take advantage of all the features. Again, as a new hire learning the new business and all the products and services you are selling, it is amazing to be able to go into each call and listen to exactly what is being said and how it was said.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using the software somewhat offlabel from its original intended design. I manage a group of customer success managers and the software has been extremely helpful in assisting us with capturing our task list, understanding customer key pain points, as well as identifying opportunities for upselling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The translation gets pretty jumbled and is not as accurate as I would like. Additionally, when trying to use it on my cell phone to record a live meeting, the phone does not recognize that the application is running, so the screen times out, when then causes the recording to shut off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software has been extremely helpful in assisting us with capturing our task list, understanding customer key pain points, as well as identifying opportunities for upselling. We also utilize the software to track and monitor our inside sales and regional sales representatives to assist with training on core products and offerings. The Sales team uses the scores and feedback to ensure that they are asking the right discovery questions, identifying prospects pain points and creating compelling events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong has a lot of business use cases beyond just assisting your sales team. It has become an instrumental part of our everyday work.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to take highlight notes and focusing more on the conversation. Having the ability to go back and identify areas to improve, think about questions I don't normally ask, and having all the insight needed to prepare for my next call.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new rep, it can be a little intimidating to have every call recorded and listened to by the entire organization. It can lead to a long time before feeling confident in what you're saying/asking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listening to my calls to make sure I extract the most important information, being able to pinpoint areas of improvement (disco questions, setting next steps, qualifying for time, digging deeper into pain, having someone else on my team listen and giving feedback/coaching).

Gong transformed the way we work

What do you like best about the product?
The transparency Gong helps to create in my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app has a few functionality and usability issues, so not always straight forward.
The speech to text feature is still not usable, very funny to read the transcripts, but very hard to make sense of what's written.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Product Manager, I get a lot of customer related information from listening to the recorded Sales calls. Sales tag Product on specific calls and portions of the call to provide context for customer requests and to enable Product to analyze for themselves what the customer was asking for.
In addition, when we are looking for specific feedback on requested functionality or gaps in our product offering, we can easily search for keywords and understand how often certain issue come up.
Then, we can actually follow up with specific customers to dive deeper.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong really changes the way the entire organization works. For us it really helped to bring Go To Market and Product teams together and start speaking the same language.

Sales Executive: New to selling software

What do you like best about the product?
The ease and user-friendly interface. The mobile app makes it easy to listen back on my calls and my colleagues, on the go; to continue to refine and refresh my delivery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, Nothing. It really does do just about everything I would need/want in a coaching and development tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better time management. I love that I get a summary email right after the call outlining my follow up "to-do" list based on the conversation. Also, being able to search key words, both good words and crutch words, allows me to see what I need to address, and allows this to happen very quickly. Also, the transcript that is provided is AMAZING for making sure I dont leave anything out in my follow ups.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
BUY THIS SOFTWARE/SERVICE! Cheap doesn't always mean the best. Gong, will by far make a massive impact in training and development across most customer facing/speaking roles; sales and CS. Its the best way I have been able to be coached without feeling attacked by as supervisor. Its really amazing!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get up to speed on prospects and customers
Easy to tag key points in calls and share with others (sales, prod, cs, onboarding)
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love more feature functionality on the SFDC integration
One thing I think about is the amount of qualifying and consultative data gathering that we do on our calls. It would be incredible if Gong could help to pick up on those signals and populate data on the account or opportunity level in sfdc.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very easy to use, with insightful call analytics, and a ton of additional features I have not had the chance to dive into yet. It's very easy to review calls and communicate with others in my organization about specific questions or important points during a call. I also love that you can view a specific account and see all points of contact with them in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have had no challenges or points of friction. I have not used anything similar prior to using Gong, so I don't have too much of a reference point for any comparable platforms. I might not be the heaviest user of Gong, so I am unsure if there are any gaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong as a BDR and in conjunction with our Account Executives when handing off prospects. It has allowed very clear communication during the handoff process and enabled us to review specifics so we are overall more prepared for the next step with a prospect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Put some time into using Gong and I believe you will see a lot of benefits, insight, and help yourself progress in your calls.
