Most valuable "nice to have" tool I use
What do you like best about the product?
For me, having all my calls effortlessly recorded and saved into Gong for future reference is incredibly valuable. I personally use it to go back to calls and review next steps.
I also love that I can share full and partial calls with internal employees and customers.
Oh I also share calls with my manager so she can review and offer suggestions on how to improve.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - I don't use the "topics" as much because they're (understandably) not perfect and therefore not super helpful. Also not as relevant to my specific role.
Sometimes it fails to pickup on the Client, which is how I search for calls, so that can get frustrating. But I also work for a software company so that's also an understandable side effect probably from some user error.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems, forgetting stuff. Specific benefits... CUSTOMER NAME PRONUNCIATION, follow up items, and other helpful things that don't stay top of mind after the call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Admittedly wouldn't call this a "need to have" software, but I absolutely LOVE Gong. It's incredibly helpful to reference calls, share calls, share specific snippets, and review general trends in conversation topics with my customers.
So much more than call recording
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful/most used feature of Gong for me is the ability to search specific keywords. The majority of my client conversations are one hour calls so being able to drill down to a specific moment or moments in a call saves me an incredible amount of time. I also like the newest ability to view calls and email in a single spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downfalls I have found lie in the inability to switch around details on the account attached. There have been times that Gong has attached calls and emails to the incorrect account and we are not able to correct that. I am confident that Gong will put a plan in place to correct these little things, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gong I am able to easily share calls with customers through UI that is easy and impressive for them to navigate. I also allows for easy sharing with peers and management to garner feedback and growth opportunities.
Great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to see not only see and hear calls, but also track email communications in between phone calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally my calls do not get recorded, but I think that has more to do with our call software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to reference calls and verify client details with a few key strokes. Great for note keeping and keeping clients honest.
Great visibility into all deal cycles at the company
What do you like best about the product?
Following a deal from start to finish to understand the different stages in the process
What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI is less intuitive than the previous version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me the ability to search for calls that mention competitors, products, and scenarios that I face on future calls. Allowing me to better plan my calls and understand how we can position our product most effectively
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great way to crowdsource information colleagues have come up in their deals.
Already Recommended, #1 sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Allows us to go back and inspect our deals more thoroughly and comment on areas of improvement. As a manager I can't be on every single call with every rep, but Gong gives me the ability to dial in to more deals to get a better understand what threats there might be.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their app needs some help (sometimes crashes), and their UI on web is not terribly intuitive--they have really powerful features that aren't very visible or intuitive in how to set up. Small tweaks would make these both better, so nothing fundamentally that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has enabled our team to better coach reps, better identify what deals may be at risk (with triggers), and have created a weekly call review sync where our team reviews certain types of calls. As a whole, our team has leveled up how we run our calls and it's been easier to share best practices and call out great reps.
Incredible Service!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Gong is that call calls are recorded for future review. You never miss important information shared by a prospect. It is a huge benefit for sales training, because it tracks keywords and analyzing interaction stats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have a hard time filtering to the call I need within the company. However, that might be a need for me to do more training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking back on calls for review, sales training and professional development
Love IT
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to browse calls and view details
What do you dislike about the product?
not every call is in the bank , i would like to be able to reflect on all calls if needed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
my flow
It just works.
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of gong, it just works without any difficult setup required. The ability to search the transcript of a call and get the timestamp allows us to be more focused on the call vs vigorously writing down notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's unfortunate that Gong has to join the call as sometimes when I schedule a last-minute call, Gong will join the call halfway through the call vs within a minute of the scheduled time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send better follow-up emails since we are able to refer back to the transcript and recording of the call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a trial run for a week with your team and I guarantee you will see the value behind Backblaze.

The UI is pretty busy and not terribly intuitive. The transcripts are not always accurate but they have been improving.
