Instant value and the possibility to improve your work

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is one of the apps that you wouldn't be able to live without if you started using it. It really makes your job easy and allows you to focus on the things that matter. I enjoy the fact that it's easy to use and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not a lot of things I dislike about Gong. Something that could be improved is the way transcripts are made, sometimes they are very incorrect, and I guess if you ever need a transcript you will have to check it and do the necessary changes to have it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On thing is the fact that I don't have to write any call notes, I just listen to the call or search for key words, and that saves me a lot of time and allows me to be more focused on the person/persons I'm having the call with. I personally managed to improve my speaking in a very short time because of Gong and stopped using sounds like "uhm" or "aaaa" when I basically just needed to pause.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just start using it and you will see value in no time!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has drastically reduced the amount of time I spend taking notes. Search, highlights, AI summaries and collaberation on comments are all huge time savers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to see the transcript from the call on the same page as the recording. This is the only thing I miss about the Zoom functionality. I'd also like to be able to copy and paste from a transcript without it jumping around on the recording. Very minor critiques.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automatic recording feature and the built-in workflow has been critically important. I was able to send a select portion of the recording to my VP of Sales, which helped us strategize and resolve a pricing dispute with a customer. The recording showed that we were right and kept our contract from dropping $10K in ARR. I would have normally not recorded this type of conversation.

If you're not using Gong, you're trying too hard!

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Gong to review calls for about a year and a half. In that time, many new features have been added that reflect the company "gets it". Useful, timely information that helps me to pinpoint exactly what I am looking for, when I'm looking for it. Great product...I'd truly recommend Gong to anyone!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes takes several hours to populate from the time the call is made. This does not get in the way for me, but I can see how it might affect the value of the tool in certain, more time sensitive environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used the tool to track my implementation of change in call flow requirements and to actively track metrics like talk time, talk ratios, responsiveness and interaction with my customers. You can't fix what you don't know. This tool puts me in control and gives me the opportunity to proactively adjust and make changes.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used a number of call recording platforms. Gong is the only platform on the market that provides insight into current deals that can be used to guide the strategy of future conversations. It helps refine tactics, and personal growth through retrospectives, but my favourite part is it's focus on deal progression with todays active opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Call transcriptions are not always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has become an essential component of my sales stack, and is invaluable for reps across their experience cycle. It enables onboarding reps to hear real world examples of how the best reps position, objection counter, and close, and follow deals from Discovery through to Renewal. It lets established reps critique themselves, re-listen to important calls, and learn from peers. It serves as a mechanism for coaching (through call reviews and feedback based on gongs artificial intelligence). It provides an easy way to provide stakeholder (whether internal or external) with valuable snippets of a call, and helps non-customer facing teams (product management, sales leadership) gain unique insight into the market receptiveness of your message.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very reliable. They have an excellent mobile application with offline capabilities. They have great notifications and key component trackers you can set up that work well too.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing. I had a small issue the other day with one of my reps calls syncing from Aircall and gong identified the problem (which was our fault) and had it fized in an hour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Managers can't be in 5 places at one time. We use it for call coaching and set up notifications to ensure reps are following our playbook.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to listen to my own calls in tandum with the insightful analytics that Gong can provide; Seeing that I have a low patience between when the customer stops talking and I start is just one small example of how I can use analytics and tie it to direct examples to become a better salesperson. The analytics and machine learning that take what successful sales people do, and tell me how to get my metrics to be more like theirs is very very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly -- really not much. If I had to choose ONE thing, and I'm reaching here -- I would say that the transcripts are a bit funky to read at times between spelling and format. For someone who didn't have the conversation, it can seem a bit disjointed to read, and even going back through after the call at times, it can be a bit out of order; also gets VERY funky when on conference calls from one phone on speaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped me through hard data to become a better sales person; this tool has allowed both me and my leaders to review my calls OBJECTIVELY and help leverage analytics and situations to coach me and improve my abilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get this for your sales people. Eliminate stressful seat rides; look at ALL calls with an objective eye, empower your sales team. Since using gong I have been able to improve my sales skills, empower my leaders to coach me in a multitude of ways, and ensure that feedback is given objectively, and fairly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can search for specific calls, both mine and others. I can filter through to find key words, and really start to dissect what I do well, and where I need work. It can show which words I repeat, and

Unable to record in states that forbid it, obviously. Records short phone calls and voice mail as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learned to focus on interrupting clients, using "like, um, etc", and listen for key words.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go back and listen to old calls with clients at anytime. This helps me pick up on things I may have missed the first time and allows me to circle back to clients with stalled deals. Gong has lead to more
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cannot come up with a dislike of Gone. The functionality and usefulness are fantastic. Everyone in a sales role needs to utilize this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to improve on the thoroughness of my consultation with clients. Having the ability to go back and listen to a call and pick up on small details after the initial call is amazing. I am able to sell a wider range of products and find better solutions to client needs because of Gong.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the stats that are shown after each call. It shows me what went well and a what I can improve on!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I think it's great that you can listen to other calls, not just your own, so that you can hear how others set up a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and listen to the call if I think I may have missed some information during the initial call. I can also critique myself.

Not really. I think they are doing a great job!

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the ability to quickly revisit key moments of a client call that’s essential for informing a personalized and thoughtful follow-up; this is particularly helpful when you have 50+ clients in your book, each with their own respective goals/needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
One constructive feedback/product suggestion would be to have a regularized/maybe monthly reporting on interesting patterns/insights about my calls for that month. That seems like a light lift for Gong but a huge value add for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tremendously helpful in providing transparency/accountability and insights for sales coaching.
