Gong is good
What do you like best about the product?
Makes for very easy 1v1 meetings with my manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot. It is occasionally buggy. I wish that uploading calls manually would provide the same level of feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking behaviors on calls with prospects is huge for me.
A must have for customer facing roles
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who is not in a sales role but uses Gong, I can confidently say I am a huge advocate for Gong. At first I thought it was a 'nice to have'. After using it for a few months I can say that it is a 'must have'. It's like one of those things that if you never used it your life is ok - but once you start using it you can't stop. The ability to easily record and share meetings with clients is incredible. Gong integrates so seamlessly with all of our tools that I never even have to think about it, or spend any time on it - aside from utilizing it's helpful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing - I have never run into any issues, or had to spend any time figuring anything out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main uses for Gong: Automatically recording my client meetings, reviewing meetings others internally have held with my clients and viewing transcripts of meetings. Also an amazing tool for training, reflection and onboarding new employees.
Learning Again
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that after 20 years in Sales, this software has allowed me to learn more about my style, weakness, and areas for improvement than ever before. To be able to listen and learn from fellow team members, and also to ensure that I never forget exactly what a client's requirements are, this software is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing fundamental to dislike in all honesty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Always understanding the client's need correctly, because you can always go back, listen and analyse again. Invaluable! Also being able to have others review and comment on your calls so that you are constantly improving.

that you can go directly where you want to in the call, use the keywords to save time.

nothing. It works great and helps me become a better salesperson
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've solved making the same mistakes over and over. benefits is that it's making me a better salesperson because my manager and I point out my flaws.
Great learning tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows you to easily trace back to past calls and understand the language that was successful in pitches, identify trends, and easily skim through calls to find key points
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally Gong will not join a call on time, cutting out some sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training & coaching for all client facing employees has become more streamlined & call review allows us to better assist SDRs in lead qualification & nurturing. It's become an important tool for new hires & internal promotions as an easy, quick way to get ramped up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong allows for a more centralized, searchable source of call recordings & the ability to leave coaching notes is a huge benefit when compared to any CRM call recording functions.
Gong is great for reviewing calls and creating a criteria of skills.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to search repetitive terms and get a quick count of them. I also enjoy using the scorecard to give us a way to gauge our growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting them in my emails every day is annoying and it's not an activity I want bombarding my emails every day. A weekly recap would suffice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and gap identification. And I use it to ensure the partners are getting a great customer experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Scorecard templates, statistics and report pulling - evidence for skills that close sales.
Tremendous Value-Add
What do you like best about the product?
The transparency it creates, and the ability to search for keywords in transcripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could record non GTM calls--sometimes renewal calls and other important feedback calls don't get recorded because clients call us directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not sure how we survived before Gong--it is such a helpful tool for training, coaching, self-improvement, onboarding new clients, and passing along a client's exact feedback to other teams in our organization.
Amazing tool that I wouldn't want to be without!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong is incredibly easy to use and allows me to focus on the content of my meetings instead of worrying about making sure I'm capturing important details in notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have Gong setup to auto join my client calls, so the only thing I would say here is that there is a bit of a lag in recording meetings that pop up. It takes time to setup the call get the recording started, so for meetings that are impromptu, often times the first part of those calls are not recorded. Not a huge deal though and can be worked around by manually setting up the call to record, only problem there is that the recorder will still join which then sounds like multiple people have joined the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many benefits in using Gong that have led to huge time savings! More details below:

> Easy to reference client calls to revisit details of the call and next steps. This has made it easier for me to make sure I'm delivering on agreed upon next steps.
> The organization and search-ability is great, making it super easy to find calls with a certain topic covered, calls by a certain person, or calls with a specific client.
> The ability to share recordings with other internal teams and clients to reference work that we've done is awesome! I have been able to share recordings quickly with clients that they can refer to as needed vs. me having to write up details and take screenshots to recreate things covered on calls = huge time savings.
> The ability to speed up the call when listening back has allowed me to maximize my time by listening to lengthy calls in much less time... again = HUGE time savings.

Amazing Sales Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to listen to a call after the fact, speed it up, and only focus on the segments where my client is speaking. Being able to share the demo recording with clients is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Gong segments the call based on the conversation but that can vary pretty widely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool to record discovery calls, demos and follow-ups. I'm in a new business AE SaaS role. This tool has been instrumental in focusing the conversation on my clients' pains, rather than taking notes. It's also amazing as a sales training tool. You can folder calls by type and new hires can easily find and listen to them.

Use it. It's awesome.

What do you like best about the product?
i like the fact i can sample my team's calls with clients without having to seat in real time. I like the transcript and the option to search for text within calls. I like the benchmarks for insights on the calls. overall this tool is essential for sales, success teams alike
What do you dislike about the product?
i cant see the shared screen on the app (if there is a presentation being presented)

tons of benefits. coaching the team. saving time. eliminating filler words.
