This software is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong transforms the way you look at self-evaluation or coaching of your team's demos. The software is of the highest quality, and is being rapidly improved.
They also use the mass amounts of call data they have, to provide thought leadership and useful data-based insights into what works and what doesn't.
They even have a mobile app that allows you to review calls offline when travelling!

What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing to say here at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is giving a lean sales organization the ability to hear how all of our reps are communicating on demos. We are then able to coach and provide timely feedback based on this.
It's an invaluable training and coaching tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to request feedback easily - and where you would like to direct it to. I also like being able to select certain points in time at throughout the call and put in comments that will remain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to easily turn off recording

No more sense worrying about note taking - calls are recorded - I take notes still but can refer back as notes needed and feedback is much easier to request

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go back and re-listen to my calls from the day/week. It allows me to take a deeper look into my discovery make sure I understood what was important to my prospects as well as identify areas where I could've dug deeper in discovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong has addressed the need to listen to calls while on the go with their new app! No complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and take notes rather than focusing on that during the call. This gives me more time to focus on my prospects and the conversation rather than writing.
Accountability, Training, Learning, Gong Does It All.
What do you like best about the product?
It gives the entire organization the ability to hear both sides of the conversation. Gone are cryptic or incomplete notes in our CRM. It allows us to coach the individual and use it for individual recognition, team training, and to provide insights to people or groups that may otherwise never have the opportunity to hear the full dynamic of what happens on calls

I would like the ability to create folders to group like calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much like what I stated in the 'like best' section, we are wanting to hear not only our customer but our employees. From ensuring that tonality is right to the quality of the content and information being discussed, Gong provides the best tool to do so. Our teams appreciate it because the days of having to recap a call multiple times with multiple groups, leaders, executives are gone. We now have a unfiltered and true account of everything that was, or wasn't discussed.

Quite simply, get it!
Great insights, easy to use and highly collaborative vendor
What do you like best about the product?
The insights gained from this tool are very accurate. In addition to this the team that supports this product is well informed and is able to coach us on how to use the insights. Additionally, the team is very driven to mature the product in a way that supports each area of communication media that I have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The site aims to be simple and highly intuitive. However, it is a little overly simplistic, meaning that there are limitations in how I can use the site. Limited filters and search criteria. This is evolving with each iterative release, so I don't think this is a long term limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding and coaching. We are much quicker to get sales people to a high level of performance.

Take time to understand what problem you are trying to solve by implementing this tool. This will better enable the Gong team to ensure you are successful and see the gains you were hoping to find.
A sales tool that I actually use daily

- The integration with Zoom video so that calls are automatically rewarded

There's nothing I dislike! Easy to use and is part of my daily work flow. It's great :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Been able to understand where there is room for improvement in my sales calls..for example: the % of the call where I'm talking vs. prospect talking

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that gong will record my webinar/ meetings and then link it to the correct salesforce account is amazing. You don't know how time saving this is. It also breaks down the call and shows how long I spoke and my most common used phrases. In customer success the goal is to teach my end users how to use the platform and I really want to key into how long my client is speaking and engaging in convo. The more they speak the better. Gong gives me the tools to analysis this and then log it into salesforce for reference from not only myself but my whole organization. They also have a fast responding support team. I initially had some hiccups with linking to the correct salesforce account but this was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Not much i dislike. I will say at first I had an issue with the recording linking to the correct salesforce account but this was resolved quickly and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know a lot os users use this as a sales tool, but I can't describe to you enough how great this is as a customer success tool. I can quickly look at my call metrics and i'm able to gage account health or predict account health from these metics. If i have a client that doesn't speak often then it cues me into they are either not paying attention or they are not interested in my topic. I can then write correct health notes and tailor my meetings or prepare for a save attempt or even preemptive strike.

Not only a great sales tool it can be used very effectively as a customer success tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to jump to any point in a call based on a word or phrase. Users can also share specific segments of a call with other people and add commentary or feedback. f you need to find something specific in a meeting like "pricing" you can jump right to it.

There is nothing I dislike about this product - it is easy to use and extremely useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can always review my calls, peers and do reviews with managers. It is most helpful when you have a long period of time between meetings and can pull critical info in prepping for your next meeting. I

This is a must have tool if you are in sales or a sales manager. Not only will it help you close deals but it will also help your reps get better by reviewing their calls. It even points out filler words like "um"
