Nothing awesome tool and it’s going the right direction.

Being able to review notes from complex discussions with customers and prospects.
Gong use in the sales world
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been an invaluable tool to our sales team. The fact that we can join team members live calls and listen in to calls that took place during any given day is huge. Our call quality has improved as we no longer take notes during calls, we hop on gong afterwards and take all the notes we need from the recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been completely satisfied with Gong. The only minor issue is that the "voice to text" recorder is terribly inaccurate. I dont think this is an issue on gong's end, I think the technology itself just isnt there yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales team has been able to listen to others calls for learning purposes, for evaluation purposes, to catch up on accounts or missed calls, and to verify call details. The improvement across our sales floor has been undeniable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot. Nothing to lose, support and sales team at gong are very helpful and will go above and beyond to give you the best experience possible

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to revisit the call at later time and also drop in anonymously to live/ongoing calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Early versions had instability issues and would not always record. This issue seems to be resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enjoy using Gong at the business level because it allows me to thoroughly analyze and break down the call to ensure I did everything I could to make my customer successful.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that we have the ability to view calls anonymously live to and comment on them/ see those comments later on with time-stamps. Viewing related opportunities is also super-helpful. NLP-topics through the call are a huge plus as well because I, as a manager, can easily search through any given conversation to see if we've effectively up-sold or offered proper solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I'd love to see on the road-map is support to edit fields from the SF Event Page layout directly in Gong. Not at all a showstopper, but a "nice-to-have".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Support-Case review, improving sales-pitch, balance of conversation topics, balance of customer/ employee talking, demo & training click-path.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to share calls for feedback. The call tracking and sync with GoToMeeting is the best I've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. This is one of my favorite tools we interact with hands down.

Sales coaching and being able to listen to calls of more senior reps for personal growth.

Gong is much more than a recording platform
What do you like best about the product?
With Gong you can tag specific pieces of a recorded meeting/call and flag with questions/comments to be viewed internally within your organization. It's super helpful if you're a sales rep and want to know the best way to handle a specific question or concept that came up during the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes for Gong. I haven't used all the features but so far everything is great.

Recording sales calls and meetings, both for internal review and often to share with my prospects.

So many automated features like key words so most of the work is done by the time the review hits your inbox

Recently joined my current organization and Gong has been fundamental part of my training. The ability to listen to my colleagues old calls, trainings, and to search, sort by speaker is great
What do you dislike about the product?
Love like to be able to get a closer look at the presentation (even with the big screen is kind of blurry), and also be able to download the powerpoint when available.

Training, information sharing with clients, time of doing multiple demos to various teams

When thinking about a specific attribute nothing comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can refer back to moments in a call that I would have otherwise missed. Helps me be present and in the moment as opposed to focused on note-taking.
Incredibly convenient
What do you like best about the product?
I love the sync with SalesForce! New Hires can get up to speed very quickly. Customer Success can listen to all the conversations about why they wanted to buy and what is important. And I can listen to them afterwards to not only improve my pitch but to refresh my memory on the deal before following up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the software seems to have a lot of glitches that require our Sales Ops attention. Sometimes I don't want there to be a link in the calendar event, because I just want it to be a call, but if there is no link, it won't record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shortening ramp period. Increasing sales efficiency. Improving customer on-boarding experience.

What do you like best about the product?
The stats. When you have enough data on the length of monologue and the mapping of your closed/won deals to the recordings - you have a treasure trove of data to look into and make impactful changes in your org.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic features are missing:
1. Cannot export data at the level I am interested in. A lot of user level granular data at the moment can only be shared by my CSM.
2. Cannot rename a recorded call. I think that is pretty basic a need. Ryan from Gong tells me this feature will be available in a week. Hoping it does.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Peer coaching. Plus most importantly my users can see for themselves what is that the best performing rep is doing while engaging the customer and relatively grade themselves for real. I myself hop on to a lot of calls to help understand the kind of customer requirements we come across as one of the top players in the CPaaS space and gauge the general sentiment about Plivo as a provider.
Lately some of my other teams are interested in some particular 'word utterances' and Gong makes it rather easy to track those and push them as a mail notification.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in the Growth phase, now is the best time to invest when you have lot of data incoming. More data = more insights. So the sooner the better. Gong analyzed over a million sales calls and they sure have a better chance of looking at patterns and providing some great insights.
