Gong Belongs in Every Tech Stack
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the single greatest coaching tool I've come across in my sales career. I love being able to provide coaching and feedback on calls instantly to reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really no downsides to using Gong. it's important to get it set up the way it will best support your company and initiatives because there are so many things the tool can provide you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps us in a variety of ways from onboarding - call libraries and mock calls, to continued developement and coaching. We are able to use trackers to identify trends and alerts to ensure that our coaching is being implemented in ways that we are trying to drive change.
So, so, so helpful!
What do you like best about the product?
The many ways it makes it so easy to review past client calls to understand what happened on them, search for specifics inside of them, etc.
As a CSM, whether I'm transitioning onto a new account, refreshing my memory of past calls in prep for business reviews or future calls, etc. I'm able to very easily make sure I'm clear and remembering important info on my clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! I haven't had any troubles with it in the past. Most of the things I'd like to see are related to restrictions based on my own organization's implementation rather than anything controlled directly by Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to get up to speed on new existing accounts I might be transitioning onto. Allows me to go back to my own calls with clients to fill in blanks in my memory or gaps in my notes that helps me remember and analyze the past calls to allow me to be sharp and effective for my clients as a CSM.

What do you like best about the product?
E-mail generator and call highlights - as a CSM having each call logged and reviewed in detail is extremely helpful to stay on top of what me and my clients are working on
What do you dislike about the product?
not much! I have not yet found a gap in the product that I can comment on. For what I use it for, its seemless!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
saves me time with follow up eamils and outlines all next steps im responsible for with my customers. On the flip side, helps me stay reminded on what each customer and I are working on and the conversations we are having around our projects
Great product, great people
What do you like best about the product?
Amazing tool that helps an entire org, not just the sales team. Product teams, marketing teams, sales teams, sales leaders, sales operations, delivery teams, etc. Everyone can use this tool to better align on client needs, deliverables, timelines, wish lists, etc. Implementation was quick and easy, its highly intuitive, the product team is extremely responsive and creates new features quickly. Its quickly becoming a go to tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the reporting funcitonality was a bit more robust, with in platform report building capabilities. Its solid, but I find I always need a bit more

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is so user-friendly that anyone can use it. Saves time with onboarding new employees. It helps us to get to the root of our customers' and prospects' problems. The UX is unmatched, and the Gong Academy is so helpful. Love love love Gong

There is really nothing to dislike about Gong
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping us to better understand our customers and prospects. By hearing exactly what they are saying and when, we keep a pulse on what they care about most. I use it to hear the voice of the customer/prospect, to better understand what they are saying and the problems they are experiencing. My managers use it as a coaching tool to help ramp their reps.
The Best Tool I Use
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Gong is their integration with Zoom. All of my calls are automatically recorded. This makes it easy to revisit afterwards, being in a customer-facing role it's important to be able to repurpose recordings. Additionally, the transcript and AI feature make it easy to find questions or follow up items in seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
Waiting for calls to analyze, but by no means is this a dealbreaker.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been very thoughtful and customer-centric as they have evolved their conversational platform into a data-driven revenue platform. Their combination of activity insights to deal details, warnings and progression is unparalleled. It is very easy to use and understand, and it integrates with the key components of our tech stack seamlessly (Salesforce, Atrium, Tableau)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sounds made up, but there really isn't any dislikes at this time. Gong isn't always perfect, but their partnership with customers, willingness to accept and chat through feedback/suggestions, and their quick development to turn those conversations into tech reality is impressive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Takes story time out deal reviews, allows for fast and aligned insight into what our customers are looking for, and allows us to objectively coach new messaging.
Very happy with the voice platform and how it has streamlined forecasting!
What do you like best about the product?
The core application really seems like the gold standard when it comes to voice intelligence. This has really been transformational for our business in a number of areas:
- Call recording, easy access, transcripts, and AI summaries.
- Call sharing - cross-functionally allowing a lot of different people to listen and collaborate
- Call intelligence - what can we learn from our calls, coaching, what is working well? what isn't?
- AI call follow-up - This is a newer feature for us, but I really like it. The AI generated call follow-up is a great starting point for summarization and next steps. It isn't perfect, but it is pretty close. And, it tends to be a better email than my reps can write on their own.
The extended functionality of the forecasting is also really great. This has made my weekly reporting on forecasts to my leadership quite a bit faster and easier. And, it has made the process for my team about as painless as possible. We do a weekly bottoms-up forecast that is systemically driven by Gong and this happens with each user each week with only an investment of a few minutes.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find Gong to have a lot of downsides. I wouldn't mind the platform doing more. Like, I would like it to support annual account-level forecasting. I also find that when we have multiple opportunities being discussed with the same contact, gong can confuse the communication between the various deals. So, this makes the assessment of whether deals are being worked less valuable for these contacts. However, these are my most active contacts and they have high win rates so not a huge issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong really helps our teams to more effectively collaborate, especially cross-functionally. For the voice features, this includes letting people from other teams access calls. For the forecast features, it means that we can do much more frequent and granular forecasting. And, the ability to on-the-fly dig into the forecast and see what it is based on. Ergo, you can see all the deals that go into a reps forecast.

Understanding how to best utilize our calls to generate more revenue.

What do you like best about the product?
The tools provided here are amazing. Love the key points of how the highlights are done. And the AI tool for follow-up emails are super handy and saves me so much time. And reminders it gives on Salesforce make ease of integration
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have noticed doesn't really record when only one party is on. Not knowing if the host started or even began the meeting. When a prospect possibly no shows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving me the tools needed to make sure I don't miss anything important to the potential buyer. Super helpful in my day-to-day needs. Such as reviewing what myself and others could do better or even buying signals and clarity of what the next steps are. As well as the AI tool also helps with follow ups making my day less time consuming so I can get to other potential prospects.
