Straight Fuego!! Great for AE's and above but not so much for BDR's
What do you like best about the product?
I love what Gong is able to do for each sales role. Account Executives can learn how to close by watching portions of their recorded sessions and BDR's can learn what what to say when booking demos because they can use data about what others like the most about their companies in their calls. It's also great for CSM's because they can also use that data when they are onboarding to create evangalists. It's a win-win-win! I also like how others can label parts of their calls so if they want to highlight on the closing portion or the discovery portion all of that is possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is known to be expensive but for good reason. It's a quality product but for smaller businesses or startups it can be a hard opportunity cost to consider. It can also be inaccurate with those who have accents that aren't English, for example we have a few people whose first language wasn't English and the AI struggled to give accurate scores to their efforts. As a BDR there isn't much for us other than data and data isn't always shared with us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that Gong is solving especially with our sales team is that we are able to close better and ask better questions. It helps BDR's know what is important to clients because we can use broad approaches to colder contacts about what they might like most based off of data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider Gong as an investment. One that can go well if necessary and costly if you're too small or if it doesn't make sense for your goals with your sales team and what you would like for them to accomplish.

What do you like best about the product?
Best tool Ive seen for inside sales to coach your sales team on their sales calls with customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not seen anything that I dislike about this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not used it with my team as I am sales training company but I have recommended this tool to sales teams as something they should be using during our training and on-going.
Gong has been an integral part of my sales growth.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly I can filter out specific words and touchpoints from my recorded demo when going back and researching a past meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could create my own dashboards a little cleaner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting to see what my peers do differently and taking some great ideas from their meetings to strengthen my skills
Great experience with business tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the simple interface and ability to get a call breakdown of talk percentages and visuals on what is being presented
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to see attendees while looking at attendees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has given me the ability to have better notes and not miss key talking points that may have been overlooked in the conversation.

Really Nice for a Sales rep to review past calls
What do you like best about the product?
No matter how long ago I had a call with a prospect, I can go back to the recording and listen to it. This is very helpful for big deals, conversations that happened a long time ago, deals with little notes or inherited from another rep, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation outside of individual calls is difficult in my opinion. I don't really use it for coaching - mainly just to review calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to review calls. It has helped a lot in situations where my notes missed something, or where problems arise later/ it's great to have a record of proof.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is value in the product. As an end user, I can't speak to whether it is worth it or not, but I like it as a user and use it weekly.

I love the search function, it's honestly top notch when looking for specific topics or keywords
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI and functionality can be a bit too "busy"

A lot of times there were agenda items I wasn't 100% sure about for follow up, but additionally maybe items that customers mentioned that weren't accurate or needed clarity. Looking back to ensure what was said was accurate is key.
Useful tool that helps to be focused on conversation itself during calls not making notes.

I love being able to navigate the system without training. It is a user-friendly tool, I can always find what I am looking for.

I wish I could filter by teams rather than individuals.
