Great for coaching, product feedback, onboarding new teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to splice calls and share snippets internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time - you really have to invest time into using it or it's simply a video recorder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can get customer feedback directly to product teams and leadership. When training in new team members, they can watch the best (and worst) situational calls.

Gong is helpful to circle back on the next steps and note-taking you missed during the call. Fantastic platform that is easy to use and helps teams learn from eachother

Nothing expect at times the call transcribe services can be incorrect based on the words

Nothing Better for Helping to Review Calls
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is outrageously helpful when it comes to analyzing and summarizing calls. I use Gong to review all of my customer calls, and their tools and features help make me a better Account Manager. Gong is a major asset in my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of any downsides to using Gong. It seems to be far more effective and helpful than any similar service. It does its job in a simple and effective way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps people on my team with call analysis. It helps us break down previous calls so that we can better analyze how our calls are going. We are able to quickly and effectively identify trends in our calls, seeing what is and isn't working.
Gong is empowering our entire team to be better on all meetings.
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been helpful for reviewing and improving how we interact with customers, as well as helps us be more focused and present without having to take notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription is far from perfect, meaning we have to rewatch the call to get the true understanding of what was said.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In CS, it allows us to have full recordings of what was said, action items that are necessary, and therefore allows us to engage on calls through active listening
Critical tool for any sales organization
What do you like best about the product?
I've now used Gong at two SaaS sales organizations. As a Sales Leader, its critical to have a tool my managers can use to coach and develop their sellers. We use GONG to understand where each seller's strengths and weaknesses are; we use it to develop a coaching plan and to pull through that coaching over the course of a month or quarter. We've also found the topics and insights particularly helpful in identifying larger themes that we can partner with Enablement to address. Finally, GONG serves as a way to provide scaled feedback direct from the customer's (recorded) words to our Product organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more to critique, but the tool works great for my organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Gong for the coaching and development of our sellers. Through Gong we are able to determine what the best sellers do on each call that drives improved outcomes and we're able to scale those learnings to the rest of the organization.

The most helpful thing is we can have all data within the folder and can search for calls we have done in the past through the search box.
What do you dislike about the product?
If we see the recordings of any call and at the same time we need a transcript of the video is suppressed, can we have a transcript like subtitles like in movies

We can go through all recordings within organization as a open channel which really help the individual to get notes from call which is missing or to understand the SOP of organization
Gong is an Excellent Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The way it breaks up meetings by who is speaking and when screen-sharing is happening. Makes it very easy to find what I am looking for!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the search filters do not return what I need, and I have to adjust my search a few times before finding what I want.

Best thing is for coaching myself on peers calls and also being able to review all of my customer conversations

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong helps me with Follow up items that I committed to on the call and it emails me the follow up items.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far it's hard to decide what I don't like about it. Maybe mostly its just a change from what I'm used to. People don't like change and I'm definitely one of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer Success will most likely get more efficient and it should help us have clearer, and more concise converstations. It's painful to hear yourself at first but i know in the end it will be great.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go back to my conversation and give me feedback. When you or a customer bring something about a previous call that I don't remember, I can easily go back and find out what was said and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI won't translate right and the words are kind of disconnected from what you really said. Not a big deal, but sometimes it's hard to understand what that means and you have to listen to the conversation instead reading it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like to listen to my own calls and I also like to listen to my peer's calls. I like how easy and convenient Gong is. A supervisor can create library content based on a specific part of our sales process. If I am struggling in a specific area, I can go to the library and listen to calls (snippets).
Effortless Call Management with Organized Recordings
What do you like best about the product?
I love Gong's recording capabilities and how organized it is. I can check recordings anytime, no matter how old they are, and there's AI to assist and summarize the meetings. The interface is easy to manage and navigate around. The initial setup was seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the search bar could be more intuitive. I want it to be as simple as possible, so when I type a name, I want all related recordings to display without needing to be too specific, like the name of the caller or similar names mentioned in a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to review calls, listen to recordings, and summarize meetings. It solves misalignments and helps review past meetings and colleagues' calls. Gong's AI assists in summarizing, and the easy navigation makes managing recordings seamless.
