Handy Automation for Bookings, But Speed and Date Format Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The automation is really handy! We use this frequently for booking vehilce repairs and it advises our drivers the dates of bookings without needing to send reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit slow! We are about to move the forms to a new sheet to see if that speeds things up. Also the date format changes to US date which can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bookings of vehicle maintenance and requests by drivers for work to be done without need to speak to the team directly

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use compared to other Project Mgmt tools

Licensing across our organization being so light means extracting rather than sharing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets easy to use system allows me to manage projects of course but I've additionally begun using it for Work & Task Management which is a god send!
Streamlined Workflows and Team Collaboration Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
We have set up workflows and approvals for certain aspects required for our department, eliminating the need of sending e-mails and following up on outstanding items as the workflows generate prompts to follow up and list everything in a central easy to understand sheet/schedule.
It has also allowed us to set up team based schedules/sheets that several users can work with at the same time.
The smart sheets build in log files and line history also greatly assists us with our internal and external audit requirments.
We use it daily and smart sheets has standardized the way we process information and documents in the department and ensuring that items are followed up and resolved in set deadlines.
The implementation and set up of Smart sheets was simple enough that we didn't need to involve customer support to assist us.
It has also allowed us to set up team based schedules/sheets that several users can work with at the same time.

What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to set up drop downs for certain fields utilized in standardizing how information is done and presented, but we are currently having issues with the data shuttles due to the volume of information we need to include on the drop downs.

Standardizing how we process the documents we require to collaborate on.
Setting up workflows to confirm correctness of information and approvals.
Ability to set up deadlines and tracing that task are completed, also logging dates when items are attended to so we can pick up turn around times, identifying where we are experiencing delays.

User-Friendly Interface, But Notification Overload
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy it was to use and how logical the interface was.

Too many notifications and alerts sent throughout the day.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using SmartSheet for 4–5 years to coordinate projects across multiple departments, and I have to say the experience has been surprisingly positive. It has gone through several upgrades over time. What I like most is the combination of a spreadsheet-style interface and automation features — it’s like using Excel, but with a brain that understands workflow.
The ability to add comments, attach documents, track changes, organise tasks, and send notifications makes collaboration much easier. I especially appreciate that everyone on the team can see real-time progress without the need for endless email threads.
Overall, SmartSheet has become an essential tool for organising work and facilitating communication within the team.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface design could be improved a bit, but that’s mostly a matter of personal preference, so it doesn’t really affect my overall impression or rating of the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet helps us centralise project information and keep all departments aligned. It replaced dozens of separate spreadsheets and email threads with one shared workspace. Thanks to task tracking, automation, and real-time updates, we’ve reduced delays and improved overall visibility across projects.
Smartsheet is an easy-to-use tool, despite limitations in multi-project management.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and it is possible to create a Gantt chart quite quickly. After completing the initial tasks, you can easily make changes and adjust the actual duration of each task, allowing you to compare this data with the initial forecasts. It is also possible to directly import an Excel file into Smartsheet, which greatly facilitated my handling of the software when I first started.

What do you dislike about the product?
The visualization of multiple projects becomes tedious when there are a large number of cells to manage. Additionally, when a task is assigned to multiple collaborators, it is not possible to distinguish their respective FTE, which complicates the overall management of FTE. Finally, customer support sometimes lacks responsiveness to our requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to track all our company's projects in detail, helps us improve in the implementation of new projects, and be more precise with our deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very versitile tool and excellent for project management

I am not a fan of their subscription models, and I find the prices unsuitable for a small South African business like mine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I personally use it for project management, financial management, and keeping track of bookings. One major advantage for me is the ability to upload attachments directly to row entries.

Smartsheet Makes Project Tracking Effortless for Excel Users
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is basically a Microsoft Excel in a web format. A as a result it is easy to use for people with Excel knowledge. Cell in different sheets can be easily linked between various sheet, so that when you update date in project plan, the date on the overall tracker changes automatically. In our organization we use Smartsheet on a daily basis.

Sometimes Smartsheet can look a bit bulky with lots of different information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization we are using Smartsheet to track project progress, assign resources and project reporting. We've created customer dashboard which takes dates from project plans and input them into dashboard, this feature makes customer reporting much easier.
