Smartsheet - A solid tool for project management and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a solid tool for project management and reporting, especially if you want something that feels like Excel but with way more automation and collaboration features. It’s great for tracking projects, managing workflows, and building dashboards, plus it’s cloud-based and secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not the cheapest option, and while it’s user-friendly at first, some of the advanced features take time to learn. It also doesn’t handle massive datasets as well as Excel or Tableau. Overall, it’s a great choice if you need better reporting and teamwork features, but maybe not the best if you're on a tight budget or need heavy-duty data analysis.

Aside that it is easy to use. Smartsheet can also provide many options for data.

I think there's nothing to dislike about this.

Useful for keeping track of my project tasks and easy to learn for someone new to project management
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface aesthetic appears colder and there are URL glitches that can occur, requiring me to wait several hours before trying to link a URL to a task again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing me to build out and manage project timelines as someone new to project management. It also allows me, as a user and team member, to manage my varying tasks across multiple projects and stay on track.
Dynamic Real Time Insights Enable Complex Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very intuitive, so as a consultant, it's relatively easy to get new clients up to speed. I project manage financial tech build projects which often warrants extensive objects to monitor. Through Smartsheet, I am able to set up a project plan, collaborate on requirements, stand up build trackers with clear owners and reviewers and monitor status at different cuts of the project. The more I use Smartsheet the better my capabilities to gain real time informative insights evolve, thanks to the customization of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
None come to mind right now. It serves my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clarity on who owns what and when it's due by. Clarity on status updates at the children level and the parent level. Consolidation of tracking many unique things into a master file for summary output on project progress. Notifications to users when their build, review, action is overdue. Enabling dialog w/ commenting functionality when reviewing something like a requirements matrix.

It's quick and integrated makes things easier.

Some automation are not allowed unless you pay extra

What do you like best about the product?
I have only been using smart sheet for the last 9 months, but I love how easy it is to use. It has allowed our team to track specific data. Collaboration is very important to our team and smart sheet has allowed us to do this with ease. It is a lot easier to use than excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still learning, but I do not have any complaints as far as right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed the team to keep track of data for our members and workflow collaboration with other teams. We are able to communicate efficiently. We can keep track of incorrect registrations and class issues.

smartsheets is making our project managers oversee their jobs, budgets, accountability and hours more easily
Learning Smartsheets and how to customize it for the business has been a positive experience

The fact that you can customize many of the functions, sheets, dashboards and reporting in Smartsheet is a positive aspect of the program

It is helping stream line how we do our projects and provide all team members with access to all projects

What do you like best about the product?
This is a simple yet effective collaboration tool, allowing the sharing of information between teams and updates without constant emails and versioning of spreadsheets or plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Emails received by customers to log into smartsheet and set themselves up come from Smartsheet and are not branded as coming from our organisation so sometimes this gets treated as spam or junk

Collaboration of information, enabling customers to get up to speed on projects and the information required quickly

What do you like best about the product?
intuitive scheduling and gantt tools that have only gotten better with time
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the linking/dependencies processes I think should be able to be more intuitive " to know what I want to do when I try to move a date back and intuit how to make it work instead"
