helpful tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Organization wide to the tool, can work on the sheet at the same time. Very helpful for project management, milestone deliverable tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
doesn't automatically save the changes or updates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps document the milestone deliverables tracking, a one-stop for tracking; and task management to assign individuals to the task in the smartsheet. Features allow to customize the sheet for internal project management needs
Far better than MS Excel
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendly interface and flexibility, allowing me to customize sheets for various needs like task tracking and data collection. I love the automation features, such as alerts and reminders, which boost productivity by reducing manual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analyzing / attaching it with external excel files as we also use excel files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have multiple Smartsheet forms and i love the notifications part when we receive notifications for any update made on the form.
Helps keep information organized
What do you like best about the product?
The features on sheets that make organizing data easier, I also like the options available to organize data. The few issues we have had, customer service was pretty responsive. Sheets itself is relatively user friendly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish more features were available with the basic package. I would like to be able to evaluate data from two different sheets but we don't need all the features offered in pro.

Organizing case status in one area where its easy to refer.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has become a core PPM tool for our organization—we use it daily to manage everything from project timelines to team collaboration and cross-functional reporting. What stands out most is the ease of use, the uniform functions makes it easy to implement in an international capacity. The spreadsheet-like interface that is similar to more conventional software like excel makes onboarding incredibly simple, even for users who aren’t tech-savvy.
Smartsheet’s wide range of features—from automated workflows and conditional logic to dashboards and forms—makes it incredibly versatile for all kinds of business needs. I also enables limitations of responsibility for better data discipline.
We use Smartsheet every day as it is our de facto Project Management solution , and it integrates seamlessly with the tools we already rely on, including Microsoft Teams.
The customer support has also been top-notch. Whether it's via live chat, email, or the active Smartsheet Community, we always get clear, timely responses.

Some advanced and ease to use functions are locked behind License users or additional addon´s.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet essentially enabled us to create a Portfolio view of our Projects thanks to Control center. We have uniform project plans, cross sheet automations and reporting. Quite good data disciple and Project collaboration thanks to sharing permissions

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, similar to Excel, and Project.

Our site team advised the timeline is hard to use on a iPad, or Phone.

What do you like best about the product?
Automations. I love being able to create automations for almost every aspect of my working needs. As a process orientated person being able to automate the process to keep others on track is an effective tool in getting the job done my way.
What do you dislike about the product?
some basic functionality is missing like pivots (yes you can pay but this is so basic when coming from excel it should be included) and incorporating multiple rows in a generated document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to move our manufacturing from paper to computers and have the whole process flow along keeping the production on track and easy for our users to follow.
Sophisticated version of excel

All the different functions and things you can do with Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very intuitive and user friendly. The learning curve is pretty steep with Smartsheet, and the easiest way to learn about the different functionalities is to see what other people have done and ask them how they did it.

I use Smartsheet for the purpose of project management. Smartsheet helps me keep everything organized and consolidated in one place while also fostering collaboration between different teams.
Instinctive, cooperative software
What do you like best about the product?
I utilize Smartsheet to efficiently generate and modify Gantt charts for different phases of design and construction. The UI is user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. As a small enterprise, we consider Smartsheet to be adaptable to our requirements, and we regard the Pro edition pricing plan as one of the most competitive available.

Easy Project Management with Great Features
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and great for tracking projects, automating tasks, and working with teams.

Smartsheet can be tricky for new users, and the mobile experience could be better.

Smartsheet helps organize projects, track tasks and automate workflows.
I believe Smartsheet is a great tool for the purpose of my business.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to edit a specific row. I also like being able to transfer rows easily from workspace to another. I have not needed to contact support, but do appreciate email updates on tools in Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
When filling out 30-40 different columns, navigating horizontally can sometimes be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to manage many different accounts/ proposals that are outgoing. I am able to send accepted accounts directly to another workspace where I am able to continue tracking until invoice complete. I am also able to attach colleagues who are a part of the specific account. We are also able to track how much money each service is being charged for which is helpful.
