Managed the Smartsheet Inventories for Reports Tracking for 72 Countries
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet proved to be a versatile and powerful project management and work collaboration tool for our BI Team. It combined the familiarity of spreadsheets with robust project management capabilities. It helped our teams plan, track, automate, and report on work, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from project management to customer relationship management (CRM).

Intuitive, collaborative software
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows my team of 100+ coworkers, colleagues, and clients to access and edit information in real time. Once you get the hang of it and understand the features available to use, the flow and set up of each sheet, dashboard, workspace, etc. feels really intuitive. I use the software every day in my work and rarely encounter glitches or a desire for an additional feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does take some time to get onboarded to and get used to. Once you're up and running, it's a great tool to leverage, but getting there can be a little time consuming. Sometimes the large volume of features can feel overwhelming and I worry that I am not using all of the tools/features available to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing me to keep track of all of my projects (and their statuses) in one place. I have a report that is generated for me on a timeframe that I have chosen for project updates. I can have colleagues and clients collaborate in their appropriate workspaces and not have to manage 4+ systems to download, upload, catalogue, etc.

The event invitation form is not adjustable o resizeable, so it doesn't give me the flexibility to create my own form shapes.

Easy to monitor all the inputs done by stakeholders.

I love that I can cross team collaborate within Smartsheets with workspaces, sheets, and more.

I would like more customization within the Forms feature.

Consolidation of data, ease of sharing that data, and assessing trends.

Powerful collaboration and project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time collaboration (Multiple users can edit sheets simultaneously. Comments, attachments, mentions and a detailed change history keep things organized. The no code automation provides for a low barrier of entry into setting up timesaving workflows. The dashboards and charts / calendar views provide a great visualization into the data and allow us to build realtime KPI's into project status. The form based data collection makes it easy to process user requests that directly trigger certain workflows without needing any specialized tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheets do not provide tabs (like you have in Excel). You'd have to link different sheets together to join data.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it as a source of truth for infrastructure automation initiatives. We also rely on Smartsheet to manage new projects that involve a larger number of team members. It's a great tool to provide visibility into the progress made, keep track of tasks, maintain a calendar of things to do and project milestones, etc. We love the workflows in Smartsheet as well to assist with end user requests and tie Smartsheet into our CI/CD pipeline.
An intuitive tool with some frustrating quirks

It’s really intuitive and easier to use than Excel. The automation is a great tool

There are some obvious things you can do on excel that you can’t do on smart sheet e.g. move rows or create sub columns

It’s helping us to stay on top of actions with the automation

What do you dislike about the product?
Loading Large Sheets: There can be occasional lag when loading large sheets, which can be frustrating during busy periods.
Missing features are requested, but I never hear follow-up on these suggestions. Things like a =RANDOM number function that excel has. I know this is available in Bridge, but I'd like it in grid/table view.

At our company, we use Smartsheet to monitor and streamline our hiring process. The platform allows us to track candidate progress, schedule interviews, and manage onboarding tasks efficiently. This has greatly improved our ability to match the right talent with the right roles, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy they are to set up and use. The workflows and automation helped me to get very creative and it is set and forget now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it hard to not get too complicated at time with the sheets. There are a few areas that could function more smoothly like with attachments and dashboards

East of collaborating and sharing information with internal and external shareholders alike.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having been a lifetime Excel user, it functions similarly but there are constantly things that I can't find that Excel did. However, not sure this is 100% a bad thing as each is built on a different use case. Excel has been bastardized in many ways to be what Smartsheet is intended to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of sharing a lot of information with multiple stakeholders and giving us a mechanism to collaborate on that information. Also, driving accountability through cell level tracking on changes is a key benefit to me.
