Smartsheets create better forms than Microsoft or Google!
What do you like best about the product?
I love making forms and tracking data with Smartsheet! It's the easiest way as a program manager to track engagement with our events and programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the templates were a little bit easier to navigate. Implementing the deadlines and information with the various programs/projects I oversee make it complicated to use the template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets helps us stay organized with our events and program planning.

IT MAKES COORDINATION BETWEEN PEOPLE VERY EASY
Great for project management and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Smartsheet can be updated live by multiple users at once. Being able to collaborate together ensures work is updated in real time and quickly. it's easy to learn to use and you can leverage automation to reduce back and forth communication with reminders and review points. We use Smartsheet to track progress, create estimates, manage schedules and dashboards to more easily digest data. It's easy to train team members on and we use it several times a week for various projects. We connect it to teams as well to see everything in one place. Their help resources are also helpful when I have a question or am learning how to do something
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Smartsheet is while it is just like Excel it is not. There is no macro functionality and when you export a sheet to Excel, it is all hardcoded so you lose any formulas you may have had on the sheet. The formulas are different as well so they don't translate the same. Even still, it's helpful tool for everything else I like best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving emails getting lost between teams when there are updates and the need for collaboration on project status and scheduling. It also solves how we present and summarize data whether internally or for clients

What do you like best about the product?
In short, Smartsheet simplifies how we capture, share, and collaborate project-related information such as tasks, checklists, plans and status reports, both internally and externally with our customers. It's also a great tool for integrating our other project-related activity from other source systems, such as actual project spend and billing/timesheet activity
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a small learning curve when we began to use Smartsheets but the tool is quite flexible for handling how we wanted to deploy it within our organization. Each release brings nice and applicable enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing project plans, checklists, status reports, and having multi-user collaboration/sharing. Before Smartsheet, we were using Excel or Word documents stitched together and manual. Having information available in the cloud and easily accessible from anywhere makes a big difference and increases productivity.

very few things do I dislike about Smartsheet. Primarily small details in features that are not present compared to other platforms.

Governance and control over what data is collected and how it is collected.

What do you like best about the product?
What started as a large project to-do list has become our main catalogue of active projects across the company tracking hundreds of details and dates for the organization. Our team uses our pipeline daily to track their tasks and provide context as they hand off their project to the next teammate. It has been easy to add fields and automations so everyone is in the know.
What do you dislike about the product?
The medium and high complexity templates can be difficult to understand and modify to you own needs. I found starting from scratch with the new guided project setup works best for me.
I would also like more filters/settings on the timeline to display multi-month and multi-year projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet organizes several hundred projects at the same time as they all pass though various stages. We track dates and tasks as well as project Details.
Forms and Collaboration Features
What do you like best about the product?
Form are very easy to use and give us an easy way to implement standards across multiple stakeholders. Forms being turned into sheets and PDF's is my favorite feature that I implemented this year. I also like the ability to track entries and features across multiple teams and companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some cross-sheet formulas sometime return calculation errors, possibly from the certain allowed reference maximum.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to standardize a PDF document across multiple stakeholders through the use of Forms.

What do you like best about the product?
It is really ease to follow up on the tasks, having an overall view of the important details.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is missing intergration with certain tools. It would be great to work on certifying additional integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deal with multiple project tasks is difficult, having deadlines is difficult to follow. Smarsheet definitely helps on this
Excellent product - new contracting methodolgy not so much
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use to set up forms, tracking and notifications. It is very intuitive and the help videos are perfect when you just need a little bit of help. When you need more than a little bit of help, support is very responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
New pricing is painful. As we are moving into this new pricing model, Smartsheet was sensitive enough to ease the pain. It looks like the new model will take a bit more of our time to manage the users and their access types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 800 Smartsheets. We use it to track Recalls, onboarding and offboarding, students and so much more.
Excel's Replacement with data management but not for dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
1. The fact that the system does not crash even with 100+ active users.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The dashboard capabilities are not upto par with excel, for example, the option to merge two charts (line & bar) is quite easy in excel but the feature does not exist in smartsheet. Having to rely on external dashboard applications due to this problem.
2. Probably just me but hate that there can't be multiple owners of the same workspace. It'd be quite helpful
3. I hate it that whenever I change the column name in the main sheet, it does not feed onto the other sheets automatically, having to troubleshoot manually is tedious and boring
4. Would love to have xlookup and other new formulas available and probably a formula helper
