Efficient Workflow Management Tool for Small Teams, but Missing Crucial Integrations.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has become an essential tool for our small team, helping us efficiently track our daily workload, manage RMAs, and prioritize tasks seamlessly. It's also a valuable repository for critical information such as warranty extensions, costing analyses, and project development updates. The ability to centralize this data in an easily accessible platform greatly streamlines our processes and improves overall productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
A significant drawback is Smartsheet’s lack of API integrations with some of our critical systems we rely on daily, specifically our inventory management system (Unleashed) and Google Sheets, which our manufacturing team frequently uses. This limitation forces us into manual data re-entry and additional workflows, reducing efficiency and introducing unnecessary opportunities for error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet addresses the challenge of disorganized workflow management by providing clear visibility and streamlined tracking for all team activities. It significantly reduces miscommunication, improves task prioritization, and enables quicker decision-making through easy access to centralized data.

I like that it is a Cloud based system that our team can all see.

It can be complicated to use the features

It helps me track company CLEs and where I am in the accreditation stage.
Great tool, but some feature enhancements would be helpful
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of the program. You can use it for many aspects of business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formula features are very complicated and tricky. Also the inability to update a formula within an sheet with search/replace. You have to update each individual formula, which I have to do each month for our reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide quality evaluations for our client's call center representatives. SmartSheets forms are used for our evaluator to capture the information. SmartSheets report and sheets are used to track the information, and email the reports to managers.
Improved our group meetings significantly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of being able to easily transition between different layouts, such as cards or Gannt charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was possible to have more control over changing various aspects, such as being able to add fields on the entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our group was struggling to keep track of tasks, who they were assigned to and when they were due. Now we go through our task list on Smartsheet during our weekly group meetings and have found it helpful in keeping much better track of these things.
Great tool for event management!
What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet for to keep track of all tasks related to event management. The interface and process of creating a form is easy and laid out very well, making the entire creative process a breeze. We love that all forms and speadsheets can essentially "talk" to each other, pulling relevant information from one document into another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for all changes to save automatically versus having to manually save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes it where my team can input and track event data and requests without having to have back-and-forth on email.
The beautiful function of Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
The Smartsheet provides a lot of extra functions comparing to Excel which makes the work more easier and integrates with other application. It is easy to implement and has a good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find any downside of using Smartsheet. Of course, the user needs to take some training to get familiar with the SW.

The ability to pull all of the data on each sheet and turn it into a dashboard

The disadvantage of this tool might be the sincronization with the rest of users at the same time.

This tool is set to resolve all types of tracking duties and issues you might find.
Good as an entry point into project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has many different functionalities that make it easy to develop a project management plan, housing multiple projects across teams into one workspace. It's familiar look and feel of the excel-like interface makes it a quick out of the box tool to integrate into my work environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The percent complete calculation that rolls up to the main item doesn't seem to allow for weighting by priority or importance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to see all projects in one workspace which has helped me prioritize and manage my workflow. Because it's integrated across our systems, it's also easy to collaborate with colleagues on projects directly through the Smartsheet interface.
Solid organization software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation features, it really helps make providing updates or notifying the right people easy. Having conditional formatting is great for organizing as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run into the occasional limitation when creating forms, especially when it comes to setting up contact lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing our teams to submit marketing requests and collaborate on completion in an efficient way, without requiring hundreds of emails and multiple channels.
