Great way to stay organized.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the reports feature. We often need to share out different information from a master document and this makes it easy to share out to different groups. I also love how easy it is to print out

I wish there was more ways to color code and making this more visually appealing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to stay organized and also allow other teammates to jump in to projects and know what is going on

Not always friendly to people with poor computer skills.

I dislike the similarity to Microsoft Excel for how expensive Smartsheet is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet organizes our NPI (New Product Integration) process. It tracks all of the tasks required for our company to introduce a new product and assigns engineers and other team members to the relvent tasks.
Smartsheet allows the team that I work on to coordinate efforts. Smartsheet minimizes duplication of work and also prevents important tasks being forgoten.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can track the changes made on the sheet and trace it back to each member of the tea. Also the automation in notifying assignee's for each task is a lifesaver
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a little bit of a learning curve at the beginning, particularly when unlocking locked cells.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of maintaining intuitive project documentation, making it clear for all stakeholders to track the project timeline. With the plans and registers shared between customer and the provider, we are yielding the benefits of improved collaboration.
Smartsheet - a great business tool
What do you like best about the product?
The automation available with sheets is fantastic - we have used it to build a whole tool that is crucial for our procurement, tracking orders, and requesting updates from suppliers with very little user input.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a relatively expensive option with the business package, and very restrictive on who can edit sheets if they don't have a full paid account. Would be good to see some more options for lower value licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us with procurement, tracking orders with suppliers, and updating shipping details in our ERP with very minimal time spent by our team.

I found that Smartsheet is an excellent tool to strengthen my project management skills and my team cooperation. It's very easy, and its user-friendly interface, paired with strong automation, reporting, and real-time updates, makes managing big projects simple. The ability to customize sheets to meet any requirement and the convenience of tracking progress across different projects are notable advantages. The Smartsheet helps me to stay organized, productive, and on track, making it a great asset for businesses of all kinds. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
In rare situations, it takes time to load huge reports and refresh updates.... however, this could also be related to the ISP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes it crashes and does not save the changes I make. After resolving the issues, it takes over half time to finish a form.
Versatile, robust and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way that the Gantt chart (the feature I use the most) is easy to use. There are also a lot of other features that just work well and are really robust. Conditional formatting never breaks (unlike other tools) and the automation is so useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
All your cells in a column have to be the same i.e. all text or number. Not the worst thing, but can take a bit of getting used to, if you're used to putting a few different tables and some notes in an excel sheet - you can't use smartsheet the same way.
Would love to be able to enter a formula in a cell as part of the automation, but you can't.
I would also love to be able to have multiple tabs within one smartsheet 'workbook' rather than have multiple sheets that you have to open each time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to capture team actions and follow up with automated emails. This saves me much time in chasing people to complete their actions.
I also use the timeline to map out my whole programme, with automated reminders to prompt me to update should dates pass etc.

5+ years of using Smartsheet - Gets the job done!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Smartsheet is that it is extremely easy to use and understand for almost any employee. We often are able to coordinate intricate projects that involve multiple team members accessing information and content within the Smartsheet interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real dislike that I have regarding Smartsheet is that it is very much a desktop program. The mobile app is difficult to use and turns me off to the point where I just wait to access it until I get back to a computer. So I guess the mobile application would be the only thing I dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet's main value comes from being a living and breathing focal point for my company's work. It allows us to all access files in a central location, and helps us communicate files and share content in a streamlined system compared to having to email each other files or find files on shared cloud drive. The formatting is easy to follow, the speed of the user interface is always excellent, and it rarely ever has any technical issues or is offline.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive, easy to use, and it's powerful if utilized correctly. The tool keeps our teams connected minute to minute as new information or existing information changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the tool can be inefficient at times without a full intentional blueprint designed for work teams. There are many product enhancements that could be implemented that would provide further efficiencies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform gives us a foundation for managing and tracking project implementations and we rely on the tool from start to finish as we acquire new business and renew existing business. Sharing information and triggering work is easy in Smartsheet and each team uses the tool slightly different depending on whether they are accountable for the work in the queue or if they are to be notified of the progress of other teams.
