The BEST solution for student tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use, intuitive and entirely customizable. A lot of other platforms clain they can capture the data, but they over promise and underdeliver. That is not the case with Samrtsheet. I really like how I can create my own workflows, and if needed link them with other depatments within my company. I was able to customize their templates for my own needs which made implementation a breeze. I use Smnartsheet all day, everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only criticism I have of Smartsheet is that it is difficult to have more than 1 window of Smartsheet open, the refresh when linking sheets, etc with multiple windows open is not the best.
Also, this is not Smartsheet, but me, I wish I had the time to learn how to do more in Smartsheet. I feel like I am only using the basic features & if I had enough time to learn the software more completely, I could do so much more. The company has reached out to schedule personalized time to help me with my project, I just am too busy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet enables me to track 500+ students across their university program, make notes on student files, track the hours of tutoring & academic coaching they use, etc. I am able to then report out this data quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes collaborating with numerous contacts and parties a breeze. They can find answers to their questions in a centralized spot and save everyone time

Sometimes the sheets are not as easy to format as i would like.

Smartsheet can automatically send project reports and contain centralized email that numerous users can acccess
Smartsheet is a fantastic, easy-to-use software product that can be used for numerous applications
What do you like best about the product?
I use it for inventory purposes and programme management - the functionality enabling auto-notifications to colleagues is really excellent and helps reduce email traffic whilst ensuring important information is captured centrally and available for audit purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The True-Up model....still can't delete people or change to Viewer only....default is for a paid service for anyone that has only been set up as a user under the old system, including people that have never looked at a Smarsheet!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of large volumes of data and governance of tenders for new contracts - helps centralise a lot of disparate data, connect project teams and simplify workflow management.

The Dashboards are very simple and easy to use.

The smart sheet has some limitations about Merging, Gridlines, Banners & Symbols.

Limited Formatting Options – Compared to Excel, customization for cell formatting is restrictive.

Smartsheet chat is very good. We can directly tag the customer and everyone will be updated.
Good tool for Project Management and planning
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive interface. Controls for data and formatting are easily located and quick to learn.

More graphical options such as kanban boards etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest issues we faced before adopting Smartsheet was a lack of centralized visibility into project timelines, tasks, and resource allocation. The dynamic Gantt charts dashboards, and automated reporting give us a clear view of project progress at all times, reducing miscommunication and delays.
It's good interface and fast, we have a automation for projects as well which you can integrate

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to configure, to format, apply filters in either tiles, plan or kanban format and to add contacts in email format

Just the text wrap around feature - when tabbing to end of text, it auto wraps - just annoying

Bringing all RAID items into one place for easy quick and efficient project team meetings - there is little duplication or repetition

Smartsheet's Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and dashboards enable real-time status tracking for multi-state projects. This transparency has improved project accountability and timing—especially for Operations Managers and Technicians
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet cannot replace core platforms like Donesafe, Definitiv, or Xero. Attempting to run WHS compliance tracking or full HR performance reviews directly in Smartsheet adds unnecessary duplication and data risk.

Smartsheet is a strong fit for Sky5’s operational departments that need structured project execution and live dashboards. However, it must be used with a clear understanding of its limits—particularly in regulated or sensitive functions. With structured governance and smart integration, it can drive efficiency and transparency across key project-based workflows at Sky5.
A good tool for Enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has good tools for Project Management. Having projects in one place with the ability to give view access to all is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a little steep to start but honestly, it's a short hill not a long slog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping real time and data is a huge plus. Every project manager is using the same format so people understand where to look.
