Clear Process Phases with Easy-to-Organize Sheets
What do you like best about the product?
Separating the different sheets into different phases of a process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The comments portion and having to click on the small comment box on the left side, and the comment column is all the way on the right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking requests and what part of the process they are in. Having them separated with a different sheet for each part of the process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can build fast solutions that behave like their own eco-system with workflow, document management and collaboration all in one place - Dynamic View affords great flexibility and ease of access to users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there is a "test" environment and that the changes you make are in the "live" application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Smartsheet to request, approve, track, monitor and measure capital spend request from a variety of users. It is efficient, easily distributed and easy to replicate.

What do you dislike about the product?
The sheet will send out the update email about what has changed/updated before all updates are incorporated. This creates extra email in certain team members' inboxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps focus team members on day-to-day tasks, logging all progress/updates on projects, and is a great collaborative tool across a project team, including for colleagues overseas.

I like Smartsheet because it offers structure for each task with hierarchy for easy organization. I also appreciate the good color options.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet's easy way to keep track of jobs, like organizing events or seeing who has contacted customers. It makes keeping the team updated with ongoing jobs convenient. Although I wasn't part of the initial setup, I found learning to use Smartsheet easy, which made the process smoother.

Detail-Oriented and User-Friendly, but Slow Loading
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the amount of detail Smartsheet offers and how user-friendly it is. The feature for storing pictures also stands out to me. It clearly presents all the details, and the question aspect is nice and clear. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

The time it takes in loading information.

Streamlines Project Management & Tasks with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I love the look and feel of Smartsheet and how simple it is to create automations and workflows. Sharing is easy too. Making automations is straightforward, and the forms allow me to gather detailed information from anyone. The automations are not just for sending emails but also for sending request forms, reminders, and more. For projects, I set up automations that send emails to action owners to update their actions, which saves me from having to remind them myself. The initial setup was really easy for us. I like the fact that it has got a direct connection to PowerBI so I can create more advanced dashbaords if required. I never got any issues with the server or lagging or much of bugs it was more on the functionality that is lacking. The cost is pretty high too if we want to implement it but if the client is okay with this tool then it is a good recommendation for large and medium sized companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that making the dynamic dropdown better with a better interface would be an improvement. Also, copying columns easily with the conditional formatting is an issue. I'm not able to create multiple columns at once, and I can't copy the type of the columns—I have to create it every time. There is no option of creating new workspaces with a templated version and if I need that I might have to go and create using control center which is again cost effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet for project and program management, including tracking actions, milestones, costs, and deadlines. It’s especially helpful because it automatically sends email updates and reminders to action owners, which makes it much easier to stay on top of tracking and follow-ups.

I use Smartsheet to track projects and tasks, and it really helps me stay on top of each task while giving me a great overview of what's to come. I find the Gantt chart view particularly helpful, and the choice of templates provides a range of options that adapt to different project needs. I also enjoy the visual side of the timeline view.

I wish it autosaved changes automatically. The initial setup took some time to understand, and I need more training on dashboards and reports.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet for its notifications because I don't have to remember everything or remind others about their tasks since it's automated. I also appreciate the dashboards for their visualization and easy access to crucial data and KPIs. The rules are another aspect I enjoy because they allow for automatic highlighting and segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The table view doesn't have all the features that the grid view does, which makes it hard to find a reason to switch to the table view. Also, when I get email notifications from Smartsheet, they're not in a user-friendly format since no pictures are downloaded automatically. It ends up showing big 'X's, making it harder to read, especially when companies often block images.
