Effective Tool for Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I think Smartsheet is a practical tool, providing clear visibility into projects and workflows. The automation features help streamline repetitive tasks, and the ability to customise dashboards makes tracking progress more efficient. I love the templates as they mean I rarely have to start from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you're first getting started it can feel a bit clunky to get use to in contrast to other project/programme management platforms. Once you know how to use it thought it's fine, and I actually prefer the 'too the point' feel. I wish I could have multiple tabs within the same sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: unclear expectations of who does what, solved by: delegation through assigning responsibility for specific elements of project. Problem: keeping people on track with agreed deadlines, solved by: tracking time frames so we can understand our actual vs estimated. Problem: clarity on sequence of steps and dependencies, solved by using schedules and mapping out milestones.
Very clever smart sheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is optimized for project management. You can check the progress with your colleagues, and there are many useful functions such as comments and notifications. It provides basic forms, so it is very easy to use and improves work efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to Smartsheet is that it is not easy to approach at first. All engineers tend to be reluctant to use new tools...hahaha
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very simple to explain with debuggers, progress check and problem notifications. Easy to manage your project with repairable features.

What do you like best about the product?
I like you can literally log into from anywhere as long as you have internet access. I can also log from the web browser on my phone if absolutely needed. I like that you can give multiple access at different levels of approval based on if they need to be able to edit or just view.
What do you dislike about the product?
I least like that it is a little harder to do things in verses excel. It takes me a little more time to figure out how to do the same process or something similiar sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
mulitple people in multiple locations are able to access it and can update it based on what it going on with what we are tracking.
Using smartsheets has been easy and helps with task management.
What do you like best about the product?
It is straightforward to use and easy to collaborate with others on.

The loading time for the projects can be slow. Not easy to know who changed what on a tasks list.

It is a simple and fast way to track project progress. It provides a good overview of the projects and tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations, ease of use, ability to create reports, metrics. I think it is very helpful for large organizational work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could be more specific in some of the automation creations. I also do not like that we have to share underlying sheets in order for individuals to be able to view reports, as I don't want individuals to go to the main sheet and mess with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing barriers of tracking aspects of the work I do, the ability to quickly pull together data and share with the stakeholders.
User friendly, anybody can use it without any formation.

Easy to collaborate with different office US and Canada.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bug when 2 persons work in same sheet at same time. The modified line drop a the bottom of the sheet.

Give us a collaborate mangement of all our projets in US and Canada.
Great Program, Difficult Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
The customization of sheets, reports, and dashboards. I work at a unique real estate company and smartsheet makes it easy to track inventory, commissions, invoices, support requests, and more. Its easy to collaborate with other departments and report to our ownership on goal progress with the reports and dashboards Ive created.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing process. We were sold on a promotion last year to increase our license count and take advantage of some premium training opportunities. We failed to reduce our licenses before our annual invoice was sent, and now we are working with our account manager to resolve this issue because we have no need for these additional licenses. The communication about this issue has been difficult and I hope we can get this resolved so we do not have to look into an alternative program for Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and collaboration of inventory, invoices, and commissions across our Residential, Commercial, and Business Brokerage departments. The forms are great for our admin team to enter information into our inventory and for Agents to submit requests to our admin department. The Generate Forms feature is one I couldnt live without as this allows me to generate commission disbursements and invoices based on the information in our sheet. The dashboards and reports are great for collaboration and high level views of our department goals and progress.

What do you like best about the product?
Great platform to track projects, from simple to complex projects. It's very easy to use with lots of features. I like how customisable it is e.g. customising columns to different project needs. Easy to visualise the main sheet view with indentations and collapsable groups of rows. It's also great to be able to export as excel file when needed. Customer support is good because when new features are introduced I am made aware.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly like the views other than the main sheet view. E.g. the gantt chart timeline view is hard to fit everything onto one page so exporting that for visualisation outside of the software is next to impossible for a complex project.

Not necessarily a problem but smartsheet is helping streamline tracking project progress and finances all in one place.

What do you dislike about the product?
(1) stricted reporting options, it would be useful to add columns esp. "calculated columnns" to a reports.
(2) pivoting data capabilities are restiricted (sheet summary), reports can not pull into excel, only sheets can.
(3) lack of security: for some reasons in a sheetwe need to collaborate with people which has different levels of permissions. i need to get data from an editor but not to let them to write on a locked column or row, where i need some superior permitted ones to edit locked cells. the only way to do this is giving admin permission level to the editors of locked cells. but in fact admin role is a superior permission level which can change the sheet owner and can be able to make big changes like deleting sheets. a permission level between admin and editor is needed.
(4) in sheet automations for sending emails to shared users, we need to send emails with not all shared users but a stricted group which make collaboration more effectively. putting an option to select a "group" to share is necessary for keeping productivity high and avoiding lots of unrelated emails.
(5) the previous pricing method was more understandable. new pricing model based on editor based pricing is not usable. we worked with so many people and the editors are very often change. keeping simplicity is destroyed with new pricing methodology. i strongly recommend Smartsheet to turn back the previous pricing options.
