What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use as a project management tool and is intuitive to make tasks and milestones clear to stakeholders.
The pre-made templates are very handy
Pricing is reasonable compared to other cloud based platforms.

Mobile app is a bit clunky and slow to load at times

Smartsheet saves me time. My stakeholders can clearly see the progress of their project without any complicated formulas.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn. Powerful tracking tools. Ability to view the history of a cell, and the activity history of a sheet. Ease of collaboration with internal and external partners. Quickly scan the details of a specific row with the comments and attachments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the advanced functions are a little clunky and lack flexibility. It would be nice to quickly produce charts from the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking employee cases. Smartsheet keeps all of the details for a specific employee in one place so it is quick to review what is happening with each case.
Project management. Ability to manage large and small projects and collaborate with team members. Easy to set up and modify a project quickly with flexible tracking tools.

Moderate learning curve, but great fucntionality
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can be linked to external software and still continuously update without need for my input. I use it every day and it is pretty seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was initially a challenge to learn all of the functions coming over from something like Microsoft Excel, but ultimately it can do more than Excel in the areas I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me speed up routinized lists for approval by supervisors, and track activity on projects and proposals.

Love the customization of it and how collaborative it is amongst my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations, like I'm looking to pull all the notifications that get sent out in a automatic workflow that was built and there isn't a quick way to get that....I have to go into each workflow and copy/paste the text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a workflow built with SS that goes to many people in our org. It was easy to set up and easy to customize and allows multiple users to colloaborate in the sheets and even allow content/approvals from other non-direct users of SS.
Once you’re comfortable with it, it’s a GREAT tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I use it every day to plan all kinds of marketing projects. I like that you can easily switch from a grid view to a calendar view (e.g. for social media and email calendars). It makes it easy for our team to keep track of everyone's project progression, KPIs, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I needed time to figure out how to make the most out of SmartSheet, but once you are comfortable with it, it is a powerful tool that makes your day-to-day much easier.

Keeping track of projects and making them accessible to the whole team helps avoid multiple Excel sheets—some shared, some not—scattered across the cloud, saving valuable time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like a lot of things about Smartsheet but what i like best is the ability to create reports and dashboards to summarize data in graphs and tables. This is ideal for customer meetings and overview meetings when you need to quickly look at data not in a detailed way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are often login issues to enter Smartsheet.
Refreshing a page sometimes takes too long.
I cannot zoom in one page and keeping the other page the same size.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is keeping all our data in one spreadsheet and allowing us to create individual reports and dashboards to visualize only specific data. This is super helpful when you have a big project that is broken down in several phases.
Clear and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Ghannt charts really help with mapping out large projects with highlighting resourcing pinch points.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some of the templates can be a little restrictive.

It enables me to share the whole schedule to all members of the team.
