Useful for organizing tasks and documents in the same place
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to connect all of my important documents with tasks in one platform. I also really enjoy the way we're able to organize using grids, lists, sheets, and different forms of data tables in one place. It's an essential tool for cross-team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the task sheet could use some automation upgrades in order to reduce clicks and increase efficiency. Being able to make tasks and include dependable tasks would be really helpful for me and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One thing we really like about smartsheet is that it can store all of our heavy documents and organize living documents in one place without having to constantly upgrade storage space.

It is simple and straightforward to use and no issues to speak of

No major issues or dislikes. Sometimes you have to click out of a field to clear the view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speeds up the process of submitting a payment request, and like I can have a copy sent to me for my records
Reliable, multifunctional and accesible
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes it easy to collaborate in worksheets. Where other software lacks, in Smartsheet we can work in sheets simultaneously without synchronisation issues. Also the dashboard capabilities are easy to use and a great way to share aggregated data with clients and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Several functionalities are not accessible for lower tier subscriptions, like simple editing for people you share a worksheet with that don't have a license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us to organise our pipeline and overview of contact with potential customers. It also helps us organise contact with potential M&A targets in our buy- & sell side projects. It benifits us in the way that the whole team can easily see the progress of others and the status of our projects.
Flexible, up and running FAST with great features
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is wonderfully flexible and easy to use, with a great set of built-in features like email notifications. Without any training, you can have a surprisingly sophisticated custom solution up and running in a matter of a couple of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Consider more flexibility on licensing options.

Overall, Smartsheet's combination of a user-friendly interface with powerful collaborative tools makes it an excellent choice for managing projects efficiently while ensuring team alignment

Smartsheet is highly capable but doesn’t include time tracking, budgeting, or advanced resource management out of the box.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize the sheet to our liking. ie. the ability to have static ticket numbers drawn up.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't always send back a response to the originator of the ticket. You have to @ symbol that individual for them to see the response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to track our tickets from departmental issues and requests for projects, and changes

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to export Gantt and Project Dashboard views to PDFs for client reporting and customising the layout effectively. Getting started is straightforward and I really like the simple and customisable Gantt view. We use this every day as the primary project planning, delivery tracking and reporting tool for all our UK projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard create / edit tool could benefit from additional features to include, summarise and chart external data sources / tables easily without having to seperatly import data tables and summarise in reports prior to then including in the dashboard view. If this process could be simplified that would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to collaborate internally on a central project planning platform and then easily export reports / views for client reporting and milestone tracking
I find smartsheet generally easy to use and picked up easily without much training
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet useful for work as I can share sheets easily and for other people to edit and change such as project schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its quite manual - I always start from scratch with my own templates/schedules such as the templates aren't very useful and relevant most of the time.

Internal Communication and updates to Projects, everything can be stored in one place and can be accessed anywhere

Ever since we have implemented Smartsheet. I personally experience the ease of project tracking and internal communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation feature could be more user-friendly. Also I don't see AI assistance.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is best when organizing thoughts and tasks across various departments. It also keeps all parties updated in real time so all can work efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations to smartsheets do not allow for pictures or pivot tables to be added within spreadsheets which would be helpful as an overall project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides an onboarding checklist that can be shared with multiple people from different departments so we can track progress efficiently. Also allows for attachments and comments to be used which is great for communication!
