It's easy to use once you get the hang of it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can upload files and comments for the rows, and the option for surveys. At work, we use the app daily and I have even explained some simple steps to handle easy tasks and people are responding well.
Again, once you get how SamrtSheets works, it's easy to integrate and implement projects, files, comments, notifications, surveys, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Is not that I don't like it, it's more that I haven't still got the full understanding of how to use the formulas.
When we asked for support, my team and I were contacted by the selling team, and never redirected to technical support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The 2 biggest problems we had were managing the contractors; the dates they were accepted and when contracts were due, the type of contracts, the amount they were signed, etc.
And the second one was for freight requests, that were determined by weight, type of transportation, their importance, etc.

Date function used the most
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to use the date function, which is not available in excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high. Also, I wish we could use it for submitting orders (creating a simple catalogue experience for customers).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to track when samples were sent to customers so that we knew when to follow up.

What do you like best about the product?
It has helped my team grow and stay a lot more oraganized. We have a full production sheet set up and now we know exactly whast going on with our orders and what we still have in house. We are big but small and I think this has helped keep our head on a swivel so we can keep our system organized and not run around trying to figure out something that can be solved by looking at our sheets. It seemed very overwhelming at first but they have people and videos in place to help you understand Smartsheets better.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using it I wish their was someone that could tell me all the hacks to making it simpler to use. Once I figured it out it became a lot easier and I also feel like there is still hacks out there that I dont know about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us keep track of our orderes that are being placed and what orders are in house as well as due dates for orders.
An exceptional business and project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been extrememly helpful in my day-to-day worklife. It has helped me and my team manage multiple projects simultaneously in a very organized fashion. It was also very easy to learn. I did have a few questions when I was gettings started, and a few more as I became more knowledgable and wanted to know if certain features existed. Support was quick to respond, and scheduling calls with them was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a few customization requests I've submitted, mostly regarding a few functionalities I'd like to see implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows my organization to keep an efficient payroll system, and track work that needs to be completed simultaneously on multiple projects. The reporting feature is unlike anything available in other sheet-based platforms, making it a valuable tool to bring multiple sheets and data sets together as needed. Smartsheet dashboards are also extremely easy to use and share.

Smartsheets in Banking
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is easy to use. It is set up the same as Excel, which we are all very familar with and the functions that are provided. Implementation was also easy. Giving that we were using Excel before, beginning to use Smartsheets was very easy and the whole team got acclimated quickly. We love the attachment and proof features as before we had information in Excel and documents in a shared folder. This brings everything together. It also integrates well with our current procedures and we hardly had to make any changes except simplifing it. We have heavy use of SmartSheets, using it for a range of our products and tracking customers as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one drawback we have is changes to cells not happening in real time for all users in the same sheet. We moved from Excel using OneDrive where all teammembers could see each others activity at the same time. The workaround for this is just saying "Hey, I'm in line" whatever but given that Excel can do it fairly easily it would be nice if Smartsheets could do the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problem that drew us to Smartsheet is the ability to attach documents to lines. This ability took out a whole step for us where we no longer log data into cells and save the documents in a folder. We now can upload these forms right into Smartsheet for easy retrieval.

It's clear interface, multi-view works well
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had incidents where a date column disappeared for no apparent reason, we needed to get it fixed, which we did by the helpline, but it set us back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a clear centralised place for keeping a project plan on track, plus the option for clients to be part of the journey.

the least helpful piece for smartsheets is the inability to interact with the giant view for setting relations and the lack of tutorials

Smartsheet is very flexible as well as easy to use and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use, much like a spreadsheet but is also very powerful. The ability to link tasks to other projects makes integration across product lines and workflows so much easier. Creating Reports and Dashboards makes tasks more visual and clear, helping to set priorities and be proactive. We drive our daily activities and priority based on being able to see everything we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions should be easier, like many of the others. Some formulas are more complex than the need to be I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet gives us the visibility to see what tasks are needed when. We can change quickly and adjust priorities, make better decisions and allocate resources better. It also allows us to reach out to areas needing more help or guidance.
