What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is that it allows me to organize my files in the most ideal way possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Smartsheet is the fact that I was so used to Excel, so it took me a little while to get habitual to Smartsheet. However, I was able to overcome this by reviewing Smartsheet courses and learning about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving all types of problems. It's super easy to share files and to collaborate with team members. By having features like assigning tasks to specific people or "contacts", Smartsheet makes life so easy.
Great for collaborative project management
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative nature. I work at a small company where we don't have a project managment department so that function typically falls to product development and as we are transitioning products from design to production, Smartsheets has been an invaluable tool between R&D and ops. It prevents dozens of messages/e-mails by having a single souce of truth that multiple stakeholders can update. It's wonderful that you don't have to worry about file syncing issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
We ran into data limitations when we had a giant sheet we used to pull reports from. We were able to relatively easily work the issue by spiliting up our timeline, but be aware that there is a limit!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We rely on Smartsheet across our organization
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet helps keep our job requests and assets organized and accessible to our entire organization. We rely on it daily to keep track of projects and share assets to our teams and partners. I like the file storage capabilites, the drag and drop nature of organizaing and storing files, the project tracking and reports, intake forms and checklist functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The save button towards the top has me constantly wondering if it's auto-saving or if I need to manually hit save all the time. I've lost some work before when I didn't hit save and assumed it was auto-saving like other cloud products.

Keeps things organized, accessible and agile.
Excellent software for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Very helpful to plan out projects and keep them on tasks. We use it everyday at my company. They've continually added new features throughout the years to make it even more automated and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
would be nice if it had more of the excel type formuals you can use. It does have some of them, but not as many.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have developed many automated routines including purchase order approvals that were previously done by hand with pen and paper. Really streamlined the process for us.
very helpful for our small business
What do you like best about the product?
it keeps everyone in our company up to date at all times. no need to change documents and resubmit when everything is integrated in live time. its a great space for people who work remotely and want to keep everything together and accessible at all times. it also helpfull for sharing information with people who dont use smartsheets. they can access sheets and reports shared to them which is great for me and my contractors. our company pretty much lives within smartsheets we use it throughout each day. its truly has been a game changer for keeping everyone in the loop. ive not dealt wih customer support much and the only training or informational call i received was not very helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solved the problem of constanly emailing eachother documents and hoping everything was filed and up to date. it also helped with work flow. we use the automations to alert each other immidiately when a task is done without having to eail or call to update each other. it also helps keep everything in one space so we are not searching all over for information and documents
Great program for working with volunteers
What do you like best about the product?
I work with volunteers around the world. Historically, we have used Google, members did not like this format. They could never figure log in and how to access the applications. Through smartsheets they have a designated software to interact and complete volunteer assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is confusing for implementation. I have yet to understand the true ability of this software. The support is ok but for a busy professional I am not finding an easy, short training to get my to a higher level of implementation.

Gathering and keeping information from over 500 people all in one place.

What I appreciate the most is its flexibility and ease of collaboration. The platform makes it simple to manage complex projects, track progress, and work seamlessly with teams. The automation features help streamline repetitive tasks, saving time and reducing manual effort. Additionally, the integration options with other tools like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace are a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface, while functional, can feel a bit outdated and sometimes unintuitive. Certain features, such as advanced reporting and dashboard customization, could be made more user-friendly. Also, pricing can be a concern for smaller teams or businesses, as it may feel a bit expensive compared to some alternatives.

Smartsheet helps me efficiently manage complex projects by streamlining workflows, enhancing collaboration, and automating repetitive tasks. It provides real-time visibility into progress through dashboards and reports, reducing miscommunication and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Very Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful feature is the automatic cells where I can easily color code them also, the feature to make drop down and list of items in the space and link them together. The integration to import photos and attachments to each cell is indeed ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
More of a missing feature is, if we could sort the color coded cells would be an amazing feature that is missing or maybe I've missed. As the world of technology going forward is AI, I would like integration of temporary notes where I can easily assign a temporary note to a specific cell for a day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a security monitoring centre, we organize database for the alarms and daily workflows on smartsheet. It helps us keep the data organized and saved on cloud. Smartsheet makes it easy for us to access and continue to our duties on daily basis and with the multiple worksheets in a single platforms. A solution to all the work in a single platform makes the job much easier to start our day from where we left off.
Overall, it's an excellent tool for project management

It's a user-friendly platform that allows you to manage projects using pre-built templates, offering an interface similar to Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain Excel functions are not available, which can make managing large-scale projects more challenging and potentially lead to confusion if not well documented.

A lot of excels and versions of the same file and complex formulas
SmartSheets - easy to use and great for replacing manual task with automation.
What do you like best about the product?
We use smartsheet to automate many internal processes in the business. The simple to build automation forms and automation saves us a lot of time with what would otherwise be very manual based processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes automation emails get blocked by spam filters in the first instance. The new licensing model has taken some time to get used to and has meant a change in the way we use Smartsheets to get the best value

Smartsheet is a great tool for simple but efficient automation of manual processes.
