Smartsheets for the shared win!
What do you like best about the product?
Used it for a shared project with another company. Loved how easy it was to update changes between us. Very easy to use as it supports so many of the Excel formulas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. It performs as it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared collaboration between our company and the project contractor.
Streamlined project management and collaboration with customers
What do you like best about the product?
What I most like about smartsheet is how easy it is to share a project plan with customers and use it as a a baseline for every project meeting. Due to the dependencies it is easy to track how the overall project is trending, if important milestones can be reached in time or whether there are delays and who caused them. I use it at the top of any project meeting to talk about key tasks and next steps. Creating new plans or adapting existing ones to support unique circumstances can be done in very little time and the tool is very intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a web based solution I would expect automatic saving and the visualisations (GANTT currently) could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Smartsheet offers task tracking features, including Gantt charts, calendars, and kanban boards, enabling users to visualize timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress effectively, ensuring timely project completion.
Smartsheet for project management and process enablement
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is simple to get started with, doesn't require a lot of trianing to edit or maintain gantt charts and even create apps from templates. I've also rcently started using the AI toll and it is very helpful in coming up with solutions and formulas. Also, the community is always a great spot to ask and search for answers, and the self-paced courses are incredible!
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I need to have so many tabs open when using the browser makes it difficut to navigate. Another functionality that I would love to see is to have dynamic drop-down menues (data validation) similar to excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps a lot with project management and collaboration, managing gantt charts and project resources and having the project team up to speed with the progress, the different views of grid, gantt, card etc, are great to tailor to the audience

Smartsheet....it's smart so you don't have to be
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has the functionality (and more) of MS Project and the customizability of Excel. The best of both worlds in one application. The features in Smartsheet really extended what we could do compared to MS Project. Add-ons like Resource Manager were easy to use and really save time over having to set up complicated formulae and graphs in traditional office suite programs.
My users enjoyed the email notifications which is very easy to set up in Smartsheet. We had tried to implement something similar inside Office but it was difficult installing add-ins that could beak with updates. With Smartsheet, integration was seamless. This is where Smartsheet shines. It has all the functuality that we wanted bulit-in so that it's easy to navigate and implement, and the support is great wherever we couldn't figure out how to do something.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unforturnately, my organization doesn't use the desktop app and the web-based interface of Smartsheet can be a little awkward to use. This is an issue with web-based platforms in general. Smartsheet's cloud interface does a good job replicating the feel of a desktop application and is better than many others, such as Sharepoint. But we still find ourselves starting in Excel or creating multiple templates in Excel and then trying to move them to Smartsheet- sometimes having to recreate or fix-up sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Resource Manager helps keeping track of resource allocation and lets me quickly assign available users to tasks.

Smartsheet has been very helpful. Still not sure about exporting data and document storage but I need to learn more.

Better tracking project status, easier to generate executive summaries and reports, action tracking and assignment to different team members,
A Flexible, All-in-One Solution for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It is highly customizable. It helps me build workflows that fit exactly how I want, and it’s easy to track everything from tasks to timelines. The transitioning between different platforms is easy and this keeps everything centralized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Atleast for me, while you can track a lot of data in Smartsheet, the reporting features could use some improvement. If I need in-depth reports with complex filters and visuals, it requires some workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can assign tasks, communicate directly with team members, and keep everything in one place. The notifications keep everyone in the loop, and there’s no need for endless email chains.
A great tool to use for automating processes without expert programming knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool to help organize, operationalize, and automate processes in a single platform with little to no programming expertise. It is very easy to get up to speed on the tool and the training materials are excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that are lacking that you might find in Excel, but I still prefer Smartsheet because of it's user friendliness and flexibility.

Allows me to automate processes increasing productivity and reducing headcount.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to collaborate. Very use to edit. Good native insights from dashboards. Great every day tool.

Wish certain features worked like the excel shortcuts (i.e. keyboard shortcuts) same as excel.

Smartsheet work for our needs on a weekly basis its used.
What do you like best about the product?
I work in the Estimating Department of a General Contractor. We have weekly meetings to review upcoming projects to bid , job that we won, jobs that we are tracking but are no bidding. To do so we created different groups/ cards for each category. My favoruty is using smartsheet to create a scheude to view all the projects and by edited each entry tp include dates and lead estimator . its nice to keep track of who is bidding what on what days so you can prep .
What do you dislike about the product?
not much so far . maybe the print to pdf can be more firendly . for example when creating a scheudle using the dates on a project. if there is a big differnece in the dates (one date is for the pre construction meeting and the second date is for the bid date. if a project is delayed / pushed out then the scheduel shows one project with a very long bar so we have to remvoe one of the dates so everything fits.
