Great online tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how multiple users can access the information at the same time. It helps with project management and version control.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a bit confusing if you have several templates, active sheets and summary sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management utilizing one solution across all parties.
A great tool for staying organized as a web architect
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that Smartsheet is something we can give clients and not worry about them "breaking" anything, like we have in the past with Excel files. Their workspace function makes my job easier. For example, I can inventory all 11 regional websites associated with a domain and keep them in a single folder that a client and my colleagues can review. This is so much quicker than saving a bunch of CSVs in sharepoint. Their AI function creating tool has also come up clutch for me in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Smartsheet is a new platform, truthfully permissions can get hazy when sharing files with a number of different clients and email addresses. There's so many platforms a client has to deal with from all their agencies, most of them don't want to make a new account. Smartsheet is straightforward and easy to get started using, but there's still a fear about using it from our clients vs something older and legacy like Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes organizing thousands of URLs a breeze with it's indentation and AI macro function feature. I can rest assured that my work will look clean and people can easily filter/sort what I send.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to easily share workbooks, create project plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as robust as a project management tool. Size of database may be a limitation.

Project management without having to buy MS Project for a large number of people.

The form that submits in sheets is helpful for getting information from other subcontractors

Not many items. overall enjoy the system and it serves it's purpose. I would like to be able to have a form populate a pdf or excel cells so I don't have to collect information in the sheet and copy it over to a form.

Smartsheet Review - Core App + Premium Apps
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers the familiarity of a spreadsheet with additional functionalities such as reports and dashboards. I am able to flexibly create new tools for different problems for various stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Support has been very difficult to work with. When I submit issues I usually get canned responses that don't address the core of my problems. When I go back and forth with their support team, a different team member responds each time. I don't feel that they ever really get to the core of my support problems.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows for collaboration across teams, and with the use of it's premium apps like Control Center, standardization for PMO's to issue project tools. I mostly use Smartsheet to aggregate project level data at the portfolio, and visualize data to help communicate to executive level stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it can be built like Pivotal Tracker. So our company becomes more agile.
What do you dislike about the product?
We did have an instance where it was down, but that is very rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business is starting to track workload and work frequency completion. Now that we are tracking work, c-suite wants reports to see how everyone is doing which is great than just trusting everyone with emails.

Smartsheet has a lot of different ways to create and set up a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the grids are not as clean as the others and that is due to how the information gets processed.

Smartsheet has made it easier for us as a company to collaborate with other departments and keep the flow of the operations seamless.

There are certain advanced functions (e.g., available on Microsoft Excel) that do not seem to apply with Smartsheet.

Smartsheet allows you to track equipment status in real-time. Whether equipment is on-site, off-site, or scheduled for delivery, everyone stays informed with up-to-date information. Overall, Smartsheet simplifies the complexities of equipment tracking, saving time, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.

Advanced features like formulas and automations can take time to learn, it also relies on internet access, which can be an issue on remote sites
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using Smartsheet to manage our heavy equipment on-site—skid steers, excavators, water trucks, you name it—and it’s been a huge help. The formulas make it easy to call equipment on and off-site and notify vendors right on time, which has saved us from a lot of last-minute chaos.
It also tracks and forecasts costs effortlessly, so we always know where we stand and can plan ahead without surprises. It’s super easy to use, and our team picked it up quickly. Smartsheet has made managing our equipment simple, efficient, and stress-free
