Useful and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to share across multiple teams/depts and relatively easy to use. It has many use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as nimble or flexible as things like Excel and not as intuitive for creating formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides on space where everyone can collaborate. It allows for better organization.

The fexibiliy of the prgram and the ease of sharing with team members.

Sometimes doing formulas can be a bit complex. It will be helpful especially for beginners to have a formula list available for basic how to's.

It is very every to use and can be shared easily, giving great collaboration

Coordination of a project, and tracking across the entire team
Reliable, easy to use, and convenient tool for our data-heavy work
What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet to collaborate on spreadsheets. It's reliable - we have a 6-year old spreadsheet with thousands of pieces of data that our team has updated on a weekly basis and we've never had any issues with the website crashing or data not being saved. It's easy to use - one feature I haven't seen with other similiar tools is the ability to submit new data to a sheet via a Smarsheet Form. Lastly, it is convenient to be able to work on the same sheet from anywhere since all you need is a web browser, so it doesn't have to live on one specific server or device.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides that I can think of. We enjoy using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team shares work duties between several people, so this is a necessary tool to use to solve the problem of multiple owners of a project.
Also, it is reliable. Sometimes, other similiar tools can crash if lots of data is put into them (I won't name names of what tool I am talking about! ;) )

ease of use and sharability as well as programing for dashboards

nothing, really. A few more pre-programmed dashboards could be helpful.

Great software replacing multiple utility and organizational S/W
What do you like best about the product?
This is my second company using Smarsheet and I can say I am a smartsheet lover. Love the ease of use, functionality and all in one use case. Replaces the need to learn multipe S/W. I have used it daily for everyday tasks/management and for PM related taskas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only cons are it can get complicated the more advanced it gets.

This product exceeds expectations and truly delivers as a top-notch project management tool. It stands out for its excellent organization and user-friendly design, making it effortless to navigate and find what you need. It ticks all the boxes for functionality and efficiency, proving to be an invaluable asset for managing projects effectively.

I find the baseline tool frustrating to use, as it requires manual creation instead of offering an option for automatic baseline generation based on the project. This becomes even more challenging when using another project spreadsheet as a starting point, adding unnecessary complexity to the process.

Smartsheet helps us maintain control over our team's workflow and effectively track the progress of each project. It's a vital tool for our weekly company meetings, allowing us to hold everyone accountable for their tasks and ensuring transparency and efficiency across the board.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets has been an amazing addition to our project managent framework. Although it takes some time to get used to, it then is very intuitive and really does help to progress, track and monitor project work all in one place. Although I am sure we are not using it to it's full potential, even as we are using it now has given us so much in the ways of effenciency gains. The templates are also great and easy to replicate and use when starting new projects or pieces of work. I have attended a couple of seminars which have also been informative and useful. I use it every day in my day to day job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive to add other users! And obviously would be ideal if there was a template of exactly what you wanted to replicate every time, eg, it would be great to have a proper sprint planning template. There is one, but it's not quite right for my needs, but that is fine as i easily added it and adapted it to what I wanted.
The dashboards are a bit complicated to set up, that's the one area of difficulty I have.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using a kanban on MS Planner which just didn't help at all with reporting or monitoring, smartsheets has helped immensely with that. We haven't fully integrated into all other software yet but we are working on it. Only difficulty is how to track projects vs smaller tasks but we will figure it out!
