What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very intuitive for scheduling and putting together reports that can be digested by people at various levels within an org.
What do you dislike about the product?
Presentation/ pdf formatting capabilities need to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarthsheet allows shared visuals on the schedule

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Disorganized Workflows and Lack of Visibility
Great product. Wish it were rolled out to everyone in my company.
What do you like best about the product?
For all the times that we use a spreadsheet when there is a better tool, SmartSheet is that tool. Making a project plan in Excel because you have Excel on your desktop? Excel is lousy for project plans. SmartSheet is great. Use Excel for it's original intended purpose and stop treating seeing everything as a nail because you have a hammer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier for people in my company to get access. So frustrating how hard it is to get people signed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Really easy to create and adjust project plans on the fly. Easy to learn and looks professional. Easy to collaborate.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a project manager and use Smartsheet every day to organize and track all of my projects. I have also utilized SS to create data warehouses and data collection workflows. Smartsheet is an excellent tool for myself and the entire department where I work. It helps me effectively manage projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime what is hard is having folks in our department try to adopt using smartsheet, more times than not, team members have been resistant to trying to collaborate on SS during a project. Sometimes, a barrier to having team members adopt SS during a project is having a hard time accessing it if they are not regularly in the app. I share links to the SS shee with them but they usually lose track of it. I think the Teams integration is really helpful, but I still find that team members still dont use it to access SS.
Personally, sometimes I feel it is hard to keep up with all of the improvements and new features. I find that I always keep going back to the same workflows and have a hard time teaching myself new things in SS. I feel like there could be better support on this that is not so expensive as the SS provided workshops are very expensive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps and benefits our Department immensely. Smartsheet helps us organize and manage complex projects and helps us achieve Department initiatives and goals. Having the dashboard capability within Smartsheet has also been very beneficial as having data to show impact etc has been a key initiative for our Department and creating dashboards via smartsheet has been a very seamless way to showcase our data.

What do you like best about the product?
If you know how to use Trello, you can use Smartsheets. It's very intuitive to get up and running but also provides advanced capabilities that scales/automates your ability to manage a portfolio of initiatives
What do you dislike about the product?
Utilizing advanced features like workflows, automation, 3rd party integrations, dashboards, etc. have dependencies to work properly. It would be great if there was a way to accelerate the learning curve because the robustness of capabilities is the main differentiator of why people select SmartSheets. I've used it for 2 years pretty regularly and I'm still mostly using card view in a portfolio kanban because after a lot of trial and error, I couldn't get things to work that I needed to expand my usage and drive more efficiencies with my work. Something as basic as the license model should be so much simpler to understand which it is now but poorly communicated. I can't tell you how many people think they can't use SmartSheets for their team because they think every user needs a license.

It's been great to provide a visual representation of a book of work and where each work item sits. It's been a great self-service tool that allows me to manage work asynchronously

Smartsheet allows me to share my reports and provides the ability for others to update notes.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet's has a lot of power and support. They have been able to help us get in line with organizing our data collect new data and get our data into dashboards so that it is easily sharable. They have many online tutorials and helpful staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
We on occasion are not able to do a specific task , and they are a bit expensive. We spend 500$ dollars per year on this software and that money could be spent helping underserved childern advance toward carees in the STEM field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has smooth remote access to our data, It allows us to process large sets of data that might get bogged down using our desktop computers. It has many cloud capabilities. and it has user support options that help us get our tasks done.
I enjoyed the organizational benefits and user friendly platform.

How easy it is to maneuver and the different ways to organize information.

The slide bars can be hard to access when using a sheet.

Project management such as tasks and due dates.
Smartsheet has a simple and intuitive user interface that makes learning the platform less daunting.

The data shuttle is my favorite feature, as it's simple to configure and allows us to automate a majority of our analytic needs through attribute mapping and various different functions.

Some dashboard widgets lack customization.

Smartsheet allows us to compile and organize data for analytical purposes which improves business efficiency and makes for clearer decision making.

There is a bit of a learning curve to fully understand all the features and how to navigate across them.
