SmartSheets is Super Fancy
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is organized in a nice excel type fashion that most of us are used to. I also like the many different views you can choose.
Implementating SmartSheets was super easy. It was also easy to join it into our current Microsoft environment.

Sometimes it feels like the sheet is too big for the screen, but overall is easy to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping keep our teams on the same page. It has really been the glue we have needed.
Smartsheet from PMO point of view
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy tool to use, doesnt require so much customisation and little implementation time with much similar Excel capabilities in a more organized structure
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are looking for a more complex solution for reporting Portfolio level Dashboard and Portfolio Level roadmap which is linked to more than one plan then it is going to be a difficult to implement this in Smartsheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping the PMO department in collating projects dashboards into single report and being the one source of truth for all projects updates
Smartsheets has been great way to share pdf's and make great spreadsheets of to do list.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can attach PDFS to a to do list. And it makes for easier conversations with subcontractors that I work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I enjoyed the product for what it is.

Being able to add pdf's to a to-do-list.
Smartsheet Helps Me Stay Organized
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and has lots of features that help make my job easier. I use Smartsheet every day. If it was difficult to navigate or use on the daily, I would not be able to function.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to maintain holidays and days off, but I just haven't figured it out yet. I also haven't figured out a successful way to integrate into Asana that works for us.

Smartsheet helps me stay organized with my timelines and help communicate dates better to my team.
Modern Workplace - Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet helps people in my division and our collaborators understand who is doing what and when. The dependencies and durations are dynamically updated and reflected in my team's calendar view which serves as a resource management tool to help us balance the workload. I particularly like the structure that allows us to group sheets into workspaces and the notifications that keep us informed even if we're not looking directly at Smartsheet. Finally, I like how easy is to set up surveys and forms to gather useful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we use both Smartsheet and Jira to track work I wish it was less expensive to connect those tools so that tasks can be automated and tracked in both tools.

With previous scheduling software, the due dates were not dynamic and didn't reflect the dependencies which led to missed deadlines.
Great Product but extremely costly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to build reports from sheet easily. We use the dashboards to share sheets, reports and pdfs. Smartsheet has allowed us to be more organized. We use this software daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The per-user cost is exceptionally high; we have users that view 99% of the time and might every now and then enter some data in a sheet. There should be another level of user that the cost is not the same for a user that uses the software regularly. Smartsheet helped out with the price of the contract, but I worry about what will happen when my contract is up. I always look for other software to prepare for when Smartsheet is no longer within my budget.
Sometimes, a formula or data mesh does not work without any explanation. Usually, I just have to get out and go back in later then everything seems to work correctly. However, this happens quite often.
Customer Support is very generic, meaning they just basically tell you how something is suppose to work and cannot problem-solve why something is not working.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to move the same data into multiple sheets, reports. Then we can share accordingly on dashboards. Before we manuually did all of this is Excel and it printing several different pdfs and sending out hundreds of emails.
go-to tool for staying organized at work
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Smartsheet makes it to stay on top of all my projects, especially when I’m juggling deadlines and tasks for Amplify. It’s super customizable, so I can set it up exactly how I need it. The collaboration features are a game-changer for keeping my team on the same page, and the automation tools save me so much time by handling repetitive stuff. It’s become one of those tools I couldn’t do my job without.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not using the mobile app because is okay but definitely not as powerful as the desktop version, which can be frustrating when I’m trying to get things done on the go. Some of the more advanced features, like building dashboards or reports, take a while to figure out. It would be awesome if there were more step-by-step guides or tutorials built right into the platform to help with that.

Smartsheet helps me keep track of multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. It simplifies collaboration by letting team members update progress and share feedback in real time, which is especially helpful when working with cross-functional teams. The ability to automate reminders and workflows saves a ton of time and keeps everyone accountable. It also helps me organize data visually with reports and dashboards, making it easier to share updates with leadership.

it promotes organization in tracking data and provides ability to create dashboards that can be linked to automatically update data which is very useful

it can be finnicky and difficult to use for users. requires a lot of training time

O would love if the templae were simplier, sometimes i find myself espending a lot of time trying to understand how they work.

What do you like best about the product?
The number of features are excellent. It can pull an enormous about of data together into ease to use forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes someone that knows a lot about the product and spreadsheets as a whole to use this product.

We collect a large amount of data from teachers and administrators within a school district about our students. We use the information to help compile an educational profile for students to help provide intervetions within our classroom.
