A effective tool to make project management simplier
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes it easy to manage complex projects with customizable sheets, automated workflows, and real-time collaboration. I appreciate how user-friendly it is for both beginners and experienced users, and how well it integrates with tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Drive. The dashboard and reporting features are especially helpful for keeping stakeholders updated and making data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet offers robust capabilities, its pricing may be somewhat high for smaller teams, particularly as you try to scale. Accessing advanced features such as resource management or certain premium add-ons often requires purchasing extra licenses, which can strain a limited budget. Additionally, there is a noticeable learning curve when configuring more complex automations or formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool makes it easy to get an overview of all the projects currently running within the team. The filter option is especially useful, as it allows me to quickly view running projects, delivered projects, closed projects, and several other categories.
User friendly and great for organizing your work at one place

Smartsheet has proven to be an excellent tool for keeping all my work organized in one central location. Its user-friendly, spreadsheet-like interface is intuitive, making it accessible even for those new to the platform, while still providing a wealth of advanced features. I appreciate being able to manage tasks, timelines, files, and team communication seamlessly, without the need to switch between multiple applications.

I have using Smartsheets with Tableai and works great in terms of integration. While implementation it as live source with Tableau, I could easily use API in Smartsheet.

When you have a large number of sheets or automation rules, the platform can start to feel cluttered, making it challenging to manage everything efficiently. Additionally, some of the advanced features are not very intuitive and may require extra time to learn or assistance from support. While Smartsheet is a powerful tool, it isn't always the most beginner-friendly option for handling complex setups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a part of Marketing team. several Field Marketing Managers need to log their campaigns each quarter. Each campaign then has various details associated, for example spend, budget, activity cost, date etc. To manage this all in one place, Smartsheet help in a good way. Finally, integration of Smartsheet with Tableau allows me to create visuals and charts for business end user.
Great Option For Managing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the customization options available in Smartsheet. We managed to set up a dashboard that allows everyone in our firm to view which projects are currently active and which are not. Although it takes some time to complete the customization, the effort is definitely worthwhile once everything is set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is the process of granting access to each sheet. It seemed like a lot of effort to continually add new users to every individual sheet. I also wish the company provided more comprehensive onboarding training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, our firm lacked an active dashboard that everyone could access to check the status of projects. We needed a way for team members to easily see when they could step in and help initiate or advance projects by reviewing the dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheet is flexible & versatile. You can set up workflows to handle approvals and reminders. It plays well with tools like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and allows for team members to hold accountability and be visible to what's on the to-do list. I am in smartsheet daily across multiple forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve to getting used to smartsheet. It also doesn't allow for real-time collaboration within team members.

Some of the formulas/sheet functions/automations are not as intuitive as I expected them to be & there are actually quite a lot of limitations on how to link & share things between sheets

Smartsheet is clearly designed with quality as a priority. Its user-friendly interface and strong audit capabilities make it especially valuable for those working in regulated industries.

Smartsheet is excellent for managing documents in accordance with regulations. Additionally, its management of change module makes it easier to control changes and provides a space for all relevant stakeholders to contribute their input.
