Smartsheet user experience as a Logistics Manager
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user-friendly and can easily be mastered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somes features available in Excel are not possible on Smartsheet, for instance selecting multiple rows and move them at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating Logistics operations in cross-functional collaboration scenarios.

Great platform that could be even better with a few updates
What do you like best about the product?
Great for collaboration. Easy to keep everything organized in folders
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to integrate other spreadsheets. Also not easy to copy information from one smartsheet to another. Wish there were more dashboard features.

Smartsheet has provided a convenient way to collaborate on managing large quantities of data.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is user friendly and provides relative ease of access to features when first learning the environment. Additionally, automation features help to manage tasks with minimal oversight from employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet seems to be limited regarding available features, so it's limited to serving specific roles. Additionally, Smartsheet does not lend itself well to project management. There is often more utility from a software like PowerBI in conjunction with Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet works well with our team as it provides a collaborative workspace and requires low working knowledge to begin utilizing. Many of process utilize either Smartsheets or forms where data is then housed on a smartsheet.
Helpful Product Tracker
What do you like best about the product?
It helps keep timelines and tasks on schedule and improves visibility. I find it easy to use and use it multiple times a week for keeping track of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if some features could be changed by those with admin rights, but it would be nice to be able to use simple math commands in certain instances outside of the timeline. For instance, having commands for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in prototype plans or task lists that are dependant on other cells similar to excel. That way, if a sample quanitity increases then it could update all of the dependant quantities.

It helps keep track of timelines and task lists to make sure everything is being done on time.

The user friendly platform. The navigation and funcionalities are easy to look clean.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user access policies are having folks jump through hoops; and so, less clicks and navigations would shave completity.

Smartsheet is very consistent and store the data well.

I like Smartsheet because it's web-based and user-friendly. It offers flexibility and serves as an effective collaboration tool.

Smartsheet is not yet fully mature as a project scheduling tool. It has certain limitations that require workarounds to achieve functionality similar to dedicated project scheduling solutions.

Its flexibility and ease of use enable efficient collaboration, improved transparency, and real-time visibility into project workflows. This benefits us by streamlining communication, reducing manual tracking efforts, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on priorities and timelines.
Keeping team members on track
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an excellent tool to ensure all team members are on track. As a project manager, this tool allows me to follow up with my colleagues and prioritizes tasks on multiple projects. Our clients love the accurate timelines from project kick off. This allows all stakeholders to adjust and realign expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I like smartsheet as a tool for everyday work use. However, there are a few items I wish smartsheet offered such as searching key words in comments in a sheet or report and condensing email alerts with active links (ex: formatted like a report). I also wish there was a cleaner way to share information on a published sheet with the client while keeping information secure and not altering our master sheet (ex: option to remove rows and columns without hiding on the master sheet). Overall engagement is diffult with employees who do not see the value of a timeline which then updating their line item seems like an extra task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate timelines shared with clients from project kick off is well received and our clients feel at ease understanding next steps. Smartsheet also gives internal project visability which allows upper management to better understand standings.
