A solid project management software for teams and organizations
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is pretty holistic; there's few things I can't do including making report dashboards which simplifies my workload immensely. Being able to send rows to other forms or link to other forms is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automations are still somewhat limited and the UX is a bit overwhelming. Trying to create a new sheet can create new workspaces, meaning that you can have 12 "Untitled Workspaces" before too long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration between teams, proofing, organizing projects, reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how many different templates and sheets there are available to use. Especially the ability to create a report from multiple sheets, and to have a workspace to house a handful of sheets in one place. It's made my work life significantly easier and better having this ability. The tools to learn about everything is helpful too, which makes it easy to learn how to use the different functions of Smartsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest piece I dislike about Smartsheet is the inability to create tabs within a sheet like you can in excel, and how the formulas are different in Smartsheet versus excel. I would be able to move even quicker and do a lot more things in Smartsheet if it was more compatible in those areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am part of a very large department at my team, so there are a lot of things to keep track of, and WorkApps specifically has been a really helpful tool for that. It has made our meetings more organized, structured, and effective. We also use reports for our billing needs, which would take a significant more about of time without using reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to upload proofs and have an easy method of approving drafts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little bit to get comfortable using the line items together correctly.

We needed a organizational tool to capture inputs and task completion between multiple players and departments.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the cell history feature so I have visibility to who made changes to a specific cell. I use it everyday and it's nice to have that tracking history

I dislike that it runs slow sometimes and that users can move columns around however they want

Smartsheet is helping with my company's end-to-end invoicing, project management, and leadership dashboards
Smartsheet Makes Work Collaboration Simple
What do you like best about the product?
The intake form is my favorite part about Smartsheet - we are able to easily obtain information in a simple way without disrupting any other parts of the spreadsheet. The intake form is also super user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing any spreadsheet can create issues with people accidentally changing other people's work, and we've come across a few of those issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Smartsheet for projects that are spread across a team of people needing to schedule, order parts, and update notes. This is a user friendly way to keep everyone on the same page.

What do you like best about the product?
Helps streamline projects, organize and track tasks easily based on their priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Personally, I liked the old UI better. It would be nice if there was an option where you could switch over from new to old version with a click (like in Outlook).
-The other aspect of Smartsheet requiring improvement currently is the part where only the owner of a sheet has all privileges. Smartsheets are usually managed by a team but right now extensive edits can only be performed by the individual who created it. To foster collaborativeness, it would be nice if the privileges were uniformly given to all users unless restricted.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Most of the projects require follow-up in a timely manner which is usually forgotten without a centralized sheet that everyone has access to. So there's no falling off of one's radar.
- If an X person is out sick, the Y person can keep track of the progress made by the other and can cover on behalf of them which I feel is extremely useful.

Easy to learn , use and maintain. Smart,easy to integrate with Excels

Cannot import multiple sheets from excel

Manage my project and tasks in a better way. Linking between the projects and tasks and assigning to users
Very nice experience, smartsheets has been a great tool to create an organized workflow.

Folow up has always been a difficult process to create and with smartsheets my team is able to create a follow up process to stay engaged and document sales calls in real time.

Feels a little clunk to build out timelines and milestone achievements for a project

The need to keep a lot of documents and project management details in one place for a project that is acessible to other team members
Convenient tool for campaigns tracking
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and does not require training for new employees.

There is no additional functionality in the software.
