Organise things in a better way
What do you like best about the product?
They are flexible, adapt a similar concept of Excel working style, yet more options and much user friendly. Easy online access and sharing. Easy connection among multipke sheets and dashboards, recorded history of the cells, users, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the tools are not open to explore, need to purchase a hell lot of things to even test if the equipment is usable for the needs. When sheet gets heavy, not very easy to clear/ archieve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Status and tracking of projects, resource management, information sharing through comments and attachments, etc
Extremely Efficient Program Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The wide range of tools that are available within the suite, which covers a variety of business needs while managing a program/project with cutting edge features, that make it a winner. Also, the tools are pretty easy to use & adapt to. Integration with data sources & other tools is seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's more room for making the UI look modern

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is easy to use because many of the features are intuitive. Additionally, the resources and customer support are helpful when you get stuck. Data can be easily organized and even exported for additional manipulation. It is also easy to implement because of the simple integration process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the grids is sometimes tedious
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves our issues with collaborating on projects involving large, complex data sets.
Lightweight on it's surface, with some deep potential
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an easy and approachable system. It's features allow you to manage more complex tasks than what spreadsheets can do today in particular the ability to make a gantt chart with dependencies is why I spring for Smartsheets when I need one in a pinch. The more time you spend with it, the deeper you can go, with approvals, connected sheets, templates and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Policies about how to use and manage smartsheets can be hard to implement in a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to quickly create a gantt chart that I can share and comment on with my clients.

What do you like best about the product?
My single favorite feature is the way you can attach files to the ghantt chart items. It saves a lot of time since many tasks involve a specific file that needs addressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
From someone whose experience is shaped by Microsoft Project, the ghantt charts are different in Smartsheet and I think that leaves something to be desired. Since most people are probably coming from a MS project background, I think that it would make sense to match more to Project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of MS project files that can only be viewed one at a time.
Great tool to organize your work and workflows; just be cautious about cost
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use a tool that is familiar like Excel, but have the added benefits of workflows, automation and ability to create dashboards that can help manage work in an effective and efficient way. The downtime that was a big issue a couple of years ago has basically gone away, which makes this one of my most reliable tools in my finance toolbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost can be a concern if not managed correctly. If you manage the active licenses and use a number of the free features for not licensed users, this is a very valuable product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to use automated workflows to communicate information to various parties that our existing systems do not allow us to do. It also gives us a better collaboration tool than Excel to accomplish that need.
Excellent way to get a better result from software similar to what users are already familiar with

Looks and behave like applications we are used to, but admins can then get a lot more value out of the extra functionality

Inability to use some excel familiar formulae - specifically ones which allow 2 user accounts with commas in between, in the same cell

Calendarisation of large numbers of deadlines with multiple dependencies between teams

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user-friendly; a functional person can configure very easily instead of relying on the technical team to make all of the updates. A form can easily be developed along with data mesh and other features to fill in needed information. The import/export features are great too!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish form fields could be restricted such as numbers only.

What do you like best about the product?
That my boss and I can work in it at the same time and work off of the same sheets for more accurate information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small quirks like being unable to edit certain column titles in certian sheet set-ups, or the way the formulas work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep pretty much all of my information I need in just one place, while also allowing me to collaborate with my boss on each of those pieces. I also love its ability to create forms that can be shared.
Smartsheet is easier than excel

The simplicity. Excel is hard to break into and Smartsheet functionality has proven easier

No tabs!!! I think it would be helpful to add this
