Easy tool to share access with multiple users and great organizational function
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to easily find the documents or assets that I need without having to keyword search or dig deep in unrelated documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Functionality can feel too simple but I question if that is a lack of training on my part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trafficking specific media assets, outlining a timeline and creating a centralized place to identify point of contacts, asset locations and URL documentation.
Secure file sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows a secure way for document sharing and editing between internal and external customers. I love that you can attach documents and tag in users for review. It also allows you to invite others to use and you can set editors vs viewers which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes creating and setting up a Smartsheet can be challenging the first time as you try to navigate what template to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves for creating a list of tasks that need to be done, who they are assigned to and when they are completed.
Great Project Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is similar to Excel but more user-friendly and offers the ability to send email reminders so deadlines are not missed/forgotten.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the application can take time to load

Reminders on deadlines in loan agreements

What do you like best about the product?
It has a variety of features and is also user friendly.

The dashboards and reporting on there doesn't always have the configurablity I'd like.

It is keeping my to-do list organized as well as allowing me to track different parts of our organization in an easily viewable way.
Streamlining Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for storing data as well as keeping track of tasks. It is also a great way to maximize time and production by automating certain processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data is not easily transferable to other software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped to reduce the amount of different systems and software for our projects by provide every feature we need. Now all of our data and processes have been consolidated down to one system.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Smartsheets' templates, especially for project management. As a project manager who juggles many projects, it's helpful to know that I don't have to create all of my project plans from scratch.
I also really appreciate Smart Sheet's Q&A forum. It has been very useful when I run into problems creating formulas.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how Smartsheet doesn't have all the capabilities that I initially thought they would have i.e. the inability to create multiple sheets in one spreadsheet like Excel allows.

Allows us to clearly see all of the tasks associated with projects, the owner, deadlines

helps to communicate quickly and clearly, it is perfect for controlling the progress of work, any change made in the project is visible and easy to verify
ExCel with more Automation & Intelligence
What do you like best about the product?
The fact it is all web based and can be accessed anywhere, shared with anyone, there are so many cool functionalities within Smartsheets that really makes project based work and team collaboration much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes takes a while to open but not sure if that is more my server than a smartsheet issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not producing multiple copies of the same document, with Smartsheets its very simple for multiple people to be working in the same document without the need to make duplicate copies. It also automatically saves any updates which is a handy tool
