Smartsheet is an easy-to-use and helpful tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can have multiple views from grid, kanban, and timeline. Also, the dashboards is a great function that I have utilized many times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it has been difficult to locate a sheet I have previously created, but that is probably my fault in organizing my folders. But, if that would be made more clear and straightforward that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes collaboration on projects simple and easy, and we can keep progress current among all members and users. It also helps with recording and displaying (dashboards) data.
Powerful project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is very uncomplicated to set up and use. Especially if you work on your own without a team (you need to assign).
Smartsheet is also very good to share externally. e.g. with you clients.
I used it as the "source of truth" when it came to document sharing - especially with external clients as my company did not have a sharing tool in place when we started with Smartsheet.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven´t experienced any downsides. It really worked for me and my projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing with external clients. My company did not have a sharing tool in place, so Smartsheet gave me the opportunity to share all documents needed with my clients and for the projects. The task management is great, as my clients see what to work on, until when it needs to be done. I created the whole project plan with all tasks, but my clients work the most with the tasks and task management. They were able to edit the status of the tasks, so I was not fully in charge of it. This gave us a great collaboration.
Upgraded and simplified version of Microsoft project.
What do you like best about the product?
Its Excel based and easy to create your own formulas and easy use in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way you can link the sheets together, it's not the best way as I found faults and issue while doing so.

Great for organisation and workflow management but reporting dashboards could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
We use smartsheet to manage all upcoming marketing plans and activity. It is easy allocate work across different teams, manage deadlines and report on overdue/upcoming work

Using formulas in the sheets can be quite difficult and creating reports for dashboards is hard to manage

Allowing us to plan all marketing activity for a range of events.
Smartsheet user for one year
What do you like best about the product?
Very nice features are automation including reminders as well as the ability to add comments and attachments to single rows in a smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making copies of sheets and moving them from one workspace into another was not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
High level of access control. Task reminders. Adding references to tasks (e.g. via attachments or comments to single rows in a sheet).
Great product for making Gannt charts
What do you like best about the product?
The Gannt chart feature is very powerful and visual. It is by far one of the most agile platforms out there for this. Automated where you need it and relatively user-friendly. The ability to export into some formats is useful too, especially when you want a flat file version of the Gannt chart too. Updating the same is easy enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could be even more user-friendly. Lots of options are good but too many can be off-putting. The Gannt doesn't always render too well on a desktop. Finding some way to make it easier to read on small er screen sizes would be good but I might be asking too much!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating aspects of a Gannt chart build. Making it easier to visualise a project's progress. Easier to export such data into a flat file for those that don't want to use a gannt visual.
Smartsheet major improvement for cooperation and visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Allowing crucial project data to be stored online, viewable from multiple platforms, from anyone with access, and allows sophisticated rules to avoid duplicating work. I use it everyday multiple times of day. Starting is uncomplicated and there are more powerful methods if you need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks to power of excel for processing large and complicated data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing crucial project info and history, used to automatically determine requirements for future quarters (after logic is provided by me)
Good tool for PMs
What do you like best about the product?
Once you now how to use it it's easy to throw together a quick schedule. I use it less frequently now i'm working on more Agile projects but it's still good for bigger roadmapping/smaller deadlines.I haven't used customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more customisable in terms of colours/fonts, I wish the shortcuts SF etc we're detailed on a side bar as quick use guide.

I dislike the staffing functionality within Smartsheet.

I like the scheduling feature it help me to solve Production scheduling for customer deliveries.
Reliable and organized PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Keeps projects organized. Easy to implement with good search functions and timeline management. I use it everyday across multiple projects and helps me organize, more between projects efficiently. Customer support is always a quick email away. I use the link to easily integrate into other meeting documents.

Cost involved, but I can still have team members view/use

Smartsheet allows me to orgranize multiple projects and various aspects across projects including budgets, timeline, milestones, etc.
