What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a highly useful and comprehensive service packed with a wide range of features. I particularly like its collaboration tools, which make it easier for large teams to work together seamlessly. The workflow automation feature is excellent for streamlining data flows and sending notifications, saving time and reducing manual effort. Another standout is its compatibility with other platforms like MS Project and Excel, making import/export tasks effortless. The variety of templates is also impressive, providing flexibility and a great starting point for various projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is its integration capabilities. While Smartsheet can be interacted by external systems via Smartsheet APIs, it lacks the oposite ability when Smartsheet can consume simple APIs to fetch/transmit data from external systems, which would greatly enhance its functionality. Additionally, the support experience needs improvement. I raised Case#: 05639085 regarding a gap in the Pivot premium functionality for Grand Totals, providing detailed explanations and screenshots. Unfortunately, the issue was mishandled, with the ticket being closed without proper acknowledgment or resolution. This gap in support responsiveness and understanding can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use Smartsheet as a project tracker tool. It helps me keep track of task statuses, organize updates, and make detailed notes for each task, ensuring nothing gets overlooked during project execution.

I need more hacks on how to utilize it. I have not been maximizing this platform.

It is like Excel and Google Sheets but smarter and simpler.
It is very user friendly and gets the job to the right person quickly

It is very user friendly. I use it at least 3-4 times a week and it is an efficient way to get my work done

I really don't see a downside to using Smartsheet

What do you like best about the product?
Smart sheet is simple to use and for us it has been easy to implement and make changes to sheets and spaces within. I use smartsheet everyday and its features like roll up reports make project updates and reviews great for my stakeholders. Customer support is always on hand for questions and the team communicate new updates frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times i have found the ease of producing roll up reporting from multiple spaces a little fiddly and i tend to rely on PMO support to create what i need rather than doing it myslef.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides multiple views of my project timelines, that are easy to flick between, be those gannt or Kanban views etc. Its free to use collaboration access licenses are also extremely valuable for our collaboration with different stakeholders in the business.

Great tracking, super collaborative and user-friendly platform for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet ensures a platform which is really suitable for efficiently manages projects and tracking them. It comes with robust tracking features that enables to meet delivery on time and ensures a real-time collaboration. I like the view options of gantt, grid, card and calender that helps to easily understand the complex data through graphical way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, managing large datasheets creates an issue and internet connectivity with a low-bandwidth environment face a reliability issue.

It helps to secure large scale operations, it keeps the environment secured and seamless. It allows us to work together on same platform with uninterrupted workflows and ideal for every kind of project from simple to complex.

Simpe and intuitive to use for client intake of information

I cannot link folders in my onedrive to have files autmatically upload there when a client uploads their data to the smartsheet. I have to manually download the documents from smartsheet and put them into the according folders. This is a major painpoint.

Excellent Project Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating project timelines and Gantt's for individuals and teams allows real-time transparency for ongoing project updates. The ability to seamlessly convert sheet views from grids, timelines, calendars, Gantts, and card views makes assigning and assessing workflows and bottlenecks intuitive and easy. There's ample Smartsheet support and resources, including tutorials and community-based seminars where folks share tips and tricks to streamline the learning curve from initial implementation and setup to utilization of the more advanced and technical features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating data sets with others that do not use Smartsheet's can be a challenge, but expected considering shared access (viewing but reduced functionality) for those without licenses. Works best when used across one's organization/teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning and tracking project specific duties and deliverables in an easy to use and visually adaptable platform.
Great breadth of functionality and ability to customize
What do you like best about the product?
I don't use Smartsheet regularly, but use it heavily when I do. Having trialed several other powerful Gantt tools on the market, I believe Smartsheet has the best breadth of functionality. It can get complex, but when you need very specific customized solutions, Smartsheet definitely supports this best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've yet to find a Gantt tool that does EVERYTHING I want it to. It seems like regardless of which one I try, there's always one missing critical function or another. I wish Smartsheet had the ability to PROPORTIONALLY auto-adjust durations of a task's subtasks when manually adjusting the duration of the parent task. I also wish the same Gantt bar coloring options existed for both parent and child tasks. Finally, having the ability to create date-agnostic roadmaps or template timelines (based on task DURATIONS vs. specific dates) would be invaluable.

We have used Smartsheet to document a model of our company's core project production process, a massive and complex Gantt chart that can be used as a reference to streamline project planning.
