Great tracking, super collaborative and user-friendly platform for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet ensures a platform which is really suitable for efficiently manages projects and tracking them. It comes with robust tracking features that enables to meet delivery on time and ensures a real-time collaboration. I like the view options of gantt, grid, card and calender that helps to easily understand the complex data through graphical way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, managing large datasheets creates an issue and internet connectivity with a low-bandwidth environment face a reliability issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to secure large scale operations, it keeps the environment secured and seamless. It allows us to work together on same platform with uninterrupted workflows and ideal for every kind of project from simple to complex.
Task Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Simpe and intuitive to use for client intake of information
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot link folders in my onedrive to have files autmatically upload there when a client uploads their data to the smartsheet. I have to manually download the documents from smartsheet and put them into the according folders. This is a major painpoint.

Excellent Project Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating project timelines and Gantt's for individuals and teams allows real-time transparency for ongoing project updates. The ability to seamlessly convert sheet views from grids, timelines, calendars, Gantts, and card views makes assigning and assessing workflows and bottlenecks intuitive and easy. There's ample Smartsheet support and resources, including tutorials and community-based seminars where folks share tips and tricks to streamline the learning curve from initial implementation and setup to utilization of the more advanced and technical features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating data sets with others that do not use Smartsheet's can be a challenge, but expected considering shared access (viewing but reduced functionality) for those without licenses. Works best when used across one's organization/teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning and tracking project specific duties and deliverables in an easy to use and visually adaptable platform.
Great breadth of functionality and ability to customize
What do you like best about the product?
I don't use Smartsheet regularly, but use it heavily when I do. Having trialed several other powerful Gantt tools on the market, I believe Smartsheet has the best breadth of functionality. It can get complex, but when you need very specific customized solutions, Smartsheet definitely supports this best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've yet to find a Gantt tool that does EVERYTHING I want it to. It seems like regardless of which one I try, there's always one missing critical function or another. I wish Smartsheet had the ability to PROPORTIONALLY auto-adjust durations of a task's subtasks when manually adjusting the duration of the parent task. I also wish the same Gantt bar coloring options existed for both parent and child tasks. Finally, having the ability to create date-agnostic roadmaps or template timelines (based on task DURATIONS vs. specific dates) would be invaluable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Smartsheet to document a model of our company's core project production process, a massive and complex Gantt chart that can be used as a reference to streamline project planning.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a million different tasks that we have to collaborate with between many different people. SmartSheet has proven itself to help us manage these tasks and make sure nothing falls between the cracks.
Could be easier to use
What do you like best about the product?
Using Smartsheet for things like tracking employee leave is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. we also use smartsheet to make leave requests if needed. those are the only feature we use as far as i am aware. i use smartsheet daily when checking the leave tracker for my faculty. luckily i've never had to call customeer support for any issues but i am certain that the customer support is wonderful!
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes certain features can be difficult to access but i assume thats just a user related issue. I am still learning all there is to know about smartsheet. i hope to learn how easy it is to implement different tools in creating personal smartsheets, and learning how easy the integration is as well. my job doesnt exactly involve utilizing smartsheet on such a level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
as an administrator, Smartsheet is helping me keep track of my faculty's leave, as well as providing leave request forms we can use to request time off, these are the main uses i am aware of.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration of the smartsheet with JIRA that can used to automated numerous workflows making it ease to handle any complex project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet performance in loading at times is slow and needs ot be improved.

Plenty of useful functionality for real life project management.

Limitations such as recovering deleted data is not very good. Problematic and support was not useful.

UI is simple and easy to use. I also like the fact that I can upload the files.

I use Smartsheet mostly for the project management and it provides all I needed. I don't have any specific thing I dislike.
