What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration aspect where all stakeholders can converge on one platform to work and comment on a project. Others platform do it but I wouldn't invite our corporate clients to a Google Sheet. I see Smartsheet as a more reputable tool to share with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like we are not using the full power of Smartsheet and I would like a more dedicated account rep. to show us some features we're not using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is 100% remote and Smartsheet is solving the issue of easy collaboration for a dispersed team

What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it can be somewhat challenging to cross-reference formulas and similar elements. It takes a little time to get accustomed to the interface before you feel comfortable building your own worksheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software offers useful features for inventory and stock management. It also supports procurement tasks, such as handling requests for quotations, as well as tracking orders and expenditures.
Flexible and Reliable for Team Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to use and feels familiar for anyone used to spreadsheets, which makes adoption smooth across teams. Implementation was simple, and we were able to set up workflows without much training. Customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever questions came up. I use Smartsheet frequently for tracking projects, assigning tasks, and reporting. The number of features is impressive — from automation and dashboards to integrations with other tools we use — but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. The integrations (with Google Workspace, Slack, etc.) make it easy to connect Smartsheet to our existing workflows, which saves time and reduces manual updates
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the advanced features take extra time to learn, and customizing dashboards or complex reports can feel a bit tricky without training. The mobile app is useful for quick updates but not as smooth for building or editing sheets compared to desktop. Pricing can also become a factor if you need premium features or a larger number of users. These are minor issues overall, but worth being aware
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us track hardware deliveries more accurately — for example, associates can scan a QR code when a laptop is delivered, so we know exactly which device they received. This improves accountability and reduces errors. It also makes scheduling easier, such as when we arrange remote laptop wipe slots, since the platform keeps everything organized and visible to the team. Overall, it saves time, cuts down on miscommunication, and helps ensure a smoother IT support process.

How much you can achieve with it - dashboards, sheets, gantt charts, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
1 - How slow it's become!
2 - Everytime you want to create a sheet quickly, it creates a workspace.
3 - When you want to search a sheet by ctrl+?, you have to use your mouse to click Search button, click the sheet, and then click ok. Would be amazing if you could use your keyboard to achieve this.
4 - No multiple sheets in one sheet like excel.

One place for a lot of things.

Easy Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet it easy to share and create basic spreadsheets to track project information
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was OOTB funcationality to connect MS Outlook to Smartsheet. Ideally send a reoccuring calendar meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SHareable links help us communicate with users outside of my organziation. We lock down sharepoint to internal users only, so it's great to be able to colaborate with users outside of my organization
Easy to use and versatile platform
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to learn and use. So far, we've always been able to accomplish whatever we've needed with the platform. Whether it's conducting employee surveys or creating detailed dashboards, we rely on Smartsheet for a wide range of tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to keep track of all the sheets inside a company. There is no company reference page to visit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to create dashboards that streamline workflow management within our department, ensuring that every user enjoys a consistent experience.

I like that smartsheet has an audit trail, email notifications, and attachment sorting / upversioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could font/highlight specific words in a cell instead of the entire cell. I would like better filter capabilities

It's allowing communication with clients on a wide range of information. It's allowing us to track chages/updates. It allows project management and timeline tracking.

it does take time to learn because it is a different system from microsoft but that is normal

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is very collaborative and that it is great for publishing pages to the public that have a behind the scenes side for our employees to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that basically everything has to be public and it isn't good for very large spreadsheets. And it needs a lot more fun aspects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of being able to gather information from a large amount of people and share it with a large amount of people.

What do you like best about the product?
Wide range of functions. Intuitive to use. The team has been able to adopt the software quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding sheet listings using the search facility takes a while. Maybe I need to find out more about refining my search terms.

We use Smartsheet for colleagues to request work from our Department. I use Smartsheet to allocate work to different members of our Department. We also use Smartsheet to circulate artwork for approval.
