The Perfect Jobsite Planning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet helps keep our basic construction schedules organized and makes for easy updating whenever our scopes of work change. Because you can tie items together with logic, they move as the job site moves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet can be a bit complicated to get familiar with, but I found the available resources beneficial in learning more about the software.

It keeps our upcoming work tasks organized and easy to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet takes collaboration with your coworkers to a new level. We use Smartsheet for many different applications such as employee time tracking which uses many formulas to efficiently track what hours need billed to what customer. We also have sheets for inventory management to effectivly track the status of items being assembled.
Overall this app is a very powerful tool with the main features being the automation and integrations of other sheets. This allows you to work in one sheet and have all of the necessary data automatically pulled to another sheet to save you the time of retyping. It's also highly customizable, making it great for automated tasks and tracking timelines.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside to me is the that there is no true "real time collaboration" which is very very frustrating at times. I may have been working on entering data when my coworker entered the same sheet and started working in the same cells as me thus over writing my progress. Google sheets is a much better option if you are looking for true real time collaboration as you will see every keystoke any other users make.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to simutamously work in multiple sheets at once. For example, I can enter data into sheet A and the data I need can be automatically applied to sheets B,C and D to complete a formula without me having to do it myself.
Boosting efficiency with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Smartsheet is an incredibly powerful tool for project management and collaboration. One of the features I love the most is the workspace collections. It allows me to organize and share everything I need in one spot, including sheets, dashboards, forms, and even third-party files. The file library is another fantastic feature, as it lets me collaborate on various files like videos, contracts, and social media copy, all within Smartsheet, with the added benefit of comments and annotations.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, while Smartsheet is a powerful tool, there are a few things that I find less appealing. First, the interface can be quite complex. For someone who isn't very familiar with spreadsheets, it can be challenging to navigate and understand, which leads to a steep learning curve.

Project managment and collaboration
Overall great platform that we use on a daily basis for tracking project financials and other tasks.

That its essentially a realtime excel sheet on the internet which canbe shared in relatime with other collaborators who are working on the same sheet.

I wish we were able to uplaod or input excel files from our computer taht could be automatically generated into your platform for use.

None that I am currently aware of.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating online, including the ability to upload documents and add messages per row, is a highly valuable feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The missing features of this product would significantly hinder its ability to fully replace Excel, such as macros and the capability to edit specific cells to add dropdowns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative work has become significantly more efficient, enabling seamless tracking of updates and eliminating the need for multiple files.
Simplified task management: Smartsheet keeps me one step ahead
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most useful Smartsheet features for me is that it allows me to easily migrate data without worrying about losing information or formatting from either Word or Spreadsheets. In audit projects the delegation of activities to users from the project rows is great for direct tracking of progress as well as interacting with comments in the context of each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasions when I quickly accessed the system to share a report I noticed that the initial startup of the desktop application took a while to load. An improvement in this area would increase my satisfaction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet's project management tools and dashboards are helpful in easily visualizing our timelines. In our concurrent audit management, being able to set automatic reminders and status updates has helped us to keep on top of meeting targets and delivering everything on time.

User friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet provides an extremely user-friendly interface for a range of tracking needs. So much easier than our old Excel tracking methods. And less intensive than using Jira. SmartSheet enables us to collaborate with our global teams easily, adding and prioritizing projects in a project tracker and moving them from status to status with a drag-and-drop methodology. We also use SmartSheet for our training calendar; SmartSheet Gantt view is customizable and easy to use and gives us a visual year-long (or more) picture of our schedule and exposes conflicts, etc. We use it weekly.
What do you dislike about the product?
SmartSheet is extremely easy to use and we have no complaints. There is a wealth of additional features that we likely have not even explored yet. But the simplicity is usually still there, even with advanced features. The implementation / integration is managed by our corporate IT and that has been easy as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and ease of communication is the biggest value fpr us. The project tracker we implemented allows us to easily funnel work and details to our global design team.

What do you like best about the product?
Good project date tracking, good communication/collaboration features
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service is difficult to get to the right person to fix any bigger issues with the blueprint (I have been a Smartsheet adminstrator responsible for our custom design)
Design is not easy to change once the blueprint is set up. Not being able to global update adding lines to sheets is our biggest issue

Templates for Everything
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets always has the best templates when in search of the most obscure layouts and purposes. I honestly prefer these over google or microsoft templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about smartsheets, I would probably go with their costomer service. I get sales persons trying to sell rather than a technician trying to adress my concerns.

Smartsheet organizes our project plans withg timeline, due dates, and user assignment.
