I use it to manage my workload and time frames.
What do you like best about the product?
it is similar to excel and the way we cna fill in the cells it is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it semems very complicated for dates in the cells

What do you like best about the product?
I like the forms for data submission on sheets. Through required fields and data validation (drop downs, restricted formats, auto generated information, etc.) our business' data stays clean and accruate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside is to have data reviewed we still rely on exporting the sheet to excel for more complicated formulas and visuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to store our inspection data of incoming products - creating trend analysis and other valubale insights

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is flexible, adaptable, and robust enough to create workflows and project tracking for complicated projects and interdepartmental workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the coding was more similar to excel. It is very close, but definitely has its own learning curve even for experienced excel users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to manage much of our construciton workflow. We also use it for department revenue tracking and budgeting. We also use forms to gather data from the team.
Powerful project and task manager that leverages the capabilities of the spreadsheet approach.
What do you like best about the product?
That it uses a spreadsheet, data driven approach to project and task managemment so that you can work with your data in super meaningful ways, while maintaining the most important features of a project and task management sofware. It is quite capabable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way it constantly ignores simple, often requested features for years that would have such a signficant impact on the daily use case for lots of users, and how it often seems confused about how to service enterprise and small business users alike. Small business use cases are often ignored. Too many examples to mention but you can't sort a filtered list. You can't reference a field URL in a formula. You can't modify a filter in the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It uses the spreadsheet / data driven approach to project and task management. Other software lacks this approach. Smartsheet is quite powerful and flexible because of this. We use it to manage our projects and tasks and to integegrate it with spreadsheets and other software integration platforms.
Project Management Usage
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is very intuitive on the user end making it super easy to navigate. There are a number of templates available to help kickstart any projects but also the flexibility to edit them to fit your needs. We use the it for project management, budget creation, planning tasks, etc. The alert setup is convenient, easy to setup, and so useful to keep yourself and teammates on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was some functionality similar to Google Sheets where if multiple people were in a workbook, you could see who/what changes are being made in real time instead of having to refresh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep our projects on task with the project management template. The notifications on upcoming due dates and ability to track when a specific task needs attention, alerting the whole team is helpful. Copying worksheets year-over-year helps us keep annual projects on track without having to reinvent the wheel. We can keep all information in a single location with tasks, tracking, comments, notifications, etc for the whole team.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn all the functionalities of Smartsheet, it can be an incredibly powerful tool for collecting data, reporting, and staying organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration capabilities could be improved, our expectations during the sales process of how SmartSheet and ResourceManagement could integrate did not prove to be possible which was a big dissapointment. A lot of the things we were hoping would be seamless required an additional program called DataShuttle, which was an additional cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating schedules that can link dates to multiple reports has been incredible for saving time and being efficient, we no longer have to rely on people to update dates/costs in multiple programs/places.
Excellent tool for manufacturing environment
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is very intuative and makes building data tools simple and easy. Using the automation and forms tools allow you to build a sheet similar to that of excel but faster and withou macros.
What do you dislike about the product?
having to purchase a package to allow you to link spreadsheets and other data tools is inconvenient as our organization is not willing to at this time. This would defenitly make building dashboards alot eaiser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are able to use smartsheets as a central location for most data. This allows us to drill through the data and easily identify pain points in our production process.

Sometimes the smallest typo can change the entire tab

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that collarboration is so easy and its a pretty simple platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres not much ability for customization. There just arent that many features.

We use Smartsheet for almost everything in the business. It is used for tracking and project managment but it also replaces excel for us.
Smartsheet, fast and simple
What do you like best about the product?
The gantt functionality is simple and powerful. It is extremely helpful to be able to set up templates for projects. Also, the output is clean and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was unable to share my sheets unless to another team member unless they had a subscription. This recently changed so made it difficult to use for the full team.
