Smartsheet is a good and easy tool to manage data and visualizations.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is its versatility and ease of use for managing projects and workflows. The platform combines the familiarity of spreadsheets with powerful project management tools, making it simple to collaborate with teams, track progress, and visualize tasks easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Smartsheet is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming for new users due to its extensive features and capabilities. The learning curve can be steep, especially for those unfamiliar with advanced project management tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am mainly leveraging the smartsheets for data recording and visualization.
A great tool for productivity and other things
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality it has with excel, the automation, and the fact you get a representative that will help you with things when you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, really. I think it has everything I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us one uniform app to use for everyone to work from. Creates efficiencies, streamlines.
Good platform for company feedback
What do you like best about the product?
We utilzie Smartsheet most for company feedback, which has been a helpful and supportive tool to have within our company! We can build quick surveys and collect great data from our employees, all compiled into a one-pager, making it easy to comb through and understand. The app is pretty straightforward, making it user friendly for all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Smartsheet is straightforward to use, there are some ins-and-outs of the app that take a little time to get familiar with. I would recommend watching a tutorial, having help from a friend, or spending extra time navigating through the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet's biggest influence for my required needs is the level of organization it offers, and the quickness to put together surveys/info submission pages for my team.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool for collaboration on projects. I love the ability to create your own formulas. Love the dashboarding capability, but can use more functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
analytics and reporting off the smartsheet is limited. Preferably you can develop a reporting tool that has more sophisticated ways of aggregating data, i.e. summarizing using pivot tables such as found in Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation is key. Love the ability and flexibility of rule creations, and automating reports to send out via email.
Smartsheets makes daily processes more smooth
What do you like best about the product?
My company uses Smartsheets for nearly everything. Overall they are very user friendly and easy to understand. I have not been a part of creating them on the back-end so much, but I do really love being able to go in to the back-end of the forms and inpuit date there rather than only having the option to fill out the main page.
What do you dislike about the product?
My downsides are company related rather than being specific to the Smartsheets themselves, so I don't know that I would be able to speak much to the downsides or negatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets has everyone using the same formatting and keeps everyone accountable to an extent.
Great project management tool for CRE
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool for managing projects in our business line. Setting up sheets is quite simple, with plenty of templates to choose from varying in complexity to cover your needs. The platform was extremely easy to learn how to use and also provides a library of training making this product very simple to integrate into your business practice. We regulary onboard new markets into our sheets and find the learning curve to be quite quick. This product provides the ability to quickly gain insights on your projects, integrating data easily across sheets to create quick reports or build dashboards to share data across teams. I love the scalability of the sheets and how easy it is to replicate things for various teams in our department. I really love the ability to set up automations which has saved hours upon hours every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really see many downsides to Smartsheet! It is possible that it may not be the most robust platform for extremely complicated projects, but pretty much everything we use this platform for it's so seemless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to smartsheet, we didn't have a central way to track all marketing projects and business wins. We can now easily track these with automations to notify parties when actions need to be taken saving lots of time on administrating these duties.
Easy Way to Track our Companies IT Assets
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Smartsheet is I can access it from anywhere. It's a great resource our company uses to track IT assets for my users. Furthermore we use its form functions to streamline billing requests and retention requests and other items for our company. Implementation was straightforward when I began the IT Asset tracking for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
With respects to Smartsheet, there isn't much not to like about it in my opinion. I personally have not run into any issues. The templates sometimes aren't quite what I'm looking for, but nothing is perfect. With respects to the actual software and usage, there's no issues from my stance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my biggest issues is multiple spreadsheets with different assets. By merging everything onto Smartsheet, it is much easier to track everything and have good visibility of all of my IT assets. The template was perfect to use with a few modifications. In the future I will look at Smartsheet to help me with the construction project management side. I don't believe I have used it to its full potential.
Smartsheet to manage launches of features and integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and helps provide clear visibility to different audiences. The reports and dashboards allows us (project managers) to share view with anyone interested in seeing the status of a project. Smartsheet also allows us to make portfolio views for all the company projects, which provides managers visibility on overall allocation and utilization of resouces. I use Smartsheet everyday to allow me to track my projects progress. We hace been recently testing JIRA Integration and there is some upfront setup, but after that it works week to sync between the project plan and information on the tickets. Smartsheet overall is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see improvement on the management of baselines, where there is only one. It would be great to be able to set different baselines overtime to track changes. Projects are dynamic and many times changes in scope will move the end dates, however the project can still be on-time due to the new scope but the old baseline is still good information when it comes time for lessons learned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provide visibility to different levels in the organization, and also allow project managers understand where they stand on their projects. It is also helps us have a portfolio view of all projects and show allocation of resources.

The customizable templates and visual tools like Gantt charts are super user-friendly, which are very helpful for the visual learners on our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Smartsheet is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you're new to project management tools. For a business like Vistabule Teardrop Trailers, the sheer number of features might take some time to set up and fully customize for tracking trailer builds or supply chains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been a lifesaver for keeping track of our customer orders, especially since details are always changing. We can update specs, timelines, and statuses in real-time, and everyone stays in the loop. It’s made managing the constant back-and-forth with orders way easier and more organized!
