An Essential Tool for Clinical Trial Coordination
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet excels in streamlining project management with its user-friendly interface and customizable features. I appreciate how easy it is to track tasks, collaborate in real-time, upload supporting files, and manage deadlines. The ability to create automated workflows and dashboards provides clear visibility into project progress, making it especially valuable for coordinating complex operations like clinical trials.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is incredibly versatile, some of the advanced features, such as creating detailed formulas or automating complex workflows, have a learning curve. Additionally, the mobile app, while functional, could benefit from a more intuitive interface for on-the-go updates. Lastly, the pricing can feel steep for smaller teams, especially when scaling usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps solve the challenge of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders by providing a centralized platform for tracking progress, assigning tasks, and sharing updates. It eliminates the need for scattered email threads and ensures everyone stays on the same page. For our work in clinical trials, it has been instrumental in improving communication, streamlining workflows, and ensuring that deadlines are met efficiently. This has saved time, reduced errors, and improved overall collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to move content between different sheets. I also love the dashboard integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to get started with using SmartSheet effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet is helping me set up a workflow and have everyone coordinate reviews of materials in the same area.
Smartsheet Helps Team Structure
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has helped my team build templates that track our projects from start to finish. We worked with a Smartsheet representative to easily set up our templates. The easy integratation of this tool has encouraged my team to use it more frequently to help manage projects. I have also have had great customer support with answering my questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many functions, I would like a guide on how to use all of the forumulas and functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me track my projects from the start to the end and duplicate the template for future use.
Great way to compile data, intuitive to use for all levels of tech savvy
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Smartsheet by far is how easy it is to build new sheets and processes. Once we had all of our data in Smartsheet, we've been able to port almost all of our processes over instead of using a ton of different programs to get and provide the information we're looking for. It's reached the point where other departments are asking "is it possible to do this in Smartsheet?" and I love that I can almost always say "yes!"
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is great for data compilation and collection, but there are a number of little features that I wish it had (or if it does already have these features, then I wish they were easier to figure out). These are things like automatically forming parent/child rows (to group rows automatically rather than by hand) or making it easier to take information from multiple places at once to compile (rather than having to copy entire rows over). I also wish that all of the different views were available in all different types (such as Card View in Reports).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to do everything by hand, on physical paper. With Smartsheet we're able to get responses from our employees in the field and easily review their responses to determine what steps we need to take next. We're also able to compile all of our contact information in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet helps me in my daily tasks by keeping financial and accouting information well organized and letting me know the status of specific requests, as well as allowing me to see who they're coming from

The screen is very populated when first opened which can sometimes be overwhelming.

Smartsheet is helping myself and my coworkers stay organized and having a reference point for information on specific requests

Delegation of tasks and task tracking was an issue for us.
A customizable product great for intake and tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is highly useful for it's user friendly forms capabilities, which makes the intake of data smooth and easy. I also love the automation capabilities, so that projects can be assigned based on responses, and updates/reminders can be sent based on a calendar with little need to manually monitor. Smartsheet is constantly adding upgrades and improvements, which means the things that I commonly wish it could do often get developed fairly soon after I realize them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting data to display in a graphic that's dynamic often requires a fairly advanced knowledge of excel like formulas, though the AI integrations are helping make this easier. Also, it would be nice if you could more easily cross reference fields between sheets, or make a multi-select list column based on a preset list sheet. I often have associated fields that I need to update in multiple places because either it's a primary field, which must be free text, or because trying to cross reference makes it too easy to break the data. If I could have a single list sheet, and then columns in other sheets based on that list sheet, it would make things so much easier to update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to have multiple intake sheets depending on the type of process, but still pull the resulting data together for necessary metrics. We can have multiple departments involved, and reports generated based on that individual/teams needs.

Overall works very good, but designating the critical path is sometimes differcult ie. ease of integration

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple smartsheet is to use. The outline on the side makes it super simple.

The thing I dislike about smartsheet is that I wish it was easier to share.

Smartsheet is helping me keep track of my new hires and the training the y have or have not received.
