Smartsheets Honest Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of being able to combine project management tasks and dashboard reporting. You need both to be able to not only track tasks, but tracking the progress and data of what you are doing. I also love the form aspect of being able to track things from forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI Design can be a bit more exciting and clean. It feels a bit outdated compared to other project management software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the ability to not have to use so many platforms. We still have to use a storage solution for SOPs and documentation, but smartsheets covers task management, workflow, and dashboards super well.
Smart Sheet Experience
What do you like best about the product?
For Project Managers like me, Smart Sheet is extremely helpful in tracking the project health and status. It's a good tool to organize and collaborate will all project team members and clients, which enable all the project team to deliver the project successfully

There are instances that when you share links to the other parties then can not easily access

Organzining and keeping the project intact. Smartsheet also helps with team collaboration
Efficient and effective
What do you like best about the product?
Love that it is a cloud sheet and can share the sheet to other team members and collaborate more easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it had more functions like excel or block out some features that cost extra money. Had some cases within our supply chain team where they did not know the data shuttle would cost 2KUSD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a data entry point to record missed deliveries for our company. Much faster than going into SAP and recording it down.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the most intuitive project management software I have used and easy to integrate throughout the company due to the ease of use. I also like the dashboards and workspaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was less expensive and was easier to integrate into SalesForce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it with a large account migration project. The workflow tools to automate alerts and tasks based on status changes has made this process very smooth. The dashboard also allows the Executives to visualize current status at a glance.
Simple tool with many features
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the amount of templates available and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found it can be difficult to link sheets together. This may be a user error issue rather than a product issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an easy tool to use to manage projects internally and also share progress to external clients.
Day to day use of Smartly for admin related tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy Smartsheet, particularly for the ability to set reminders, I use it to monitor our staff anniversary dates and set a reminder for each staff, so I never forget, and it comes straight to my email. I often get emails of webinars etc as well for more learnings which I need to utilise more
What do you dislike about the product?
Some key shortcuts aren't the same as excel, so I often forget as I am used to excel but it's easy to figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I answered this in the first questions about the reminders you can set up that get emailed to you
Smartsheet brings very interesting features to tabular interfaces: reminders, calendars, etc.
What do you like best about the product?
Tailor made views in the various sheets and the reminder capabilities combined with the rule building feature. Also the AI feature where you describe in natural language a certain formula which is then automatically translated in to Smartsheet's taxonomy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a dislike per se but rather be aware that certain things work differently in Smartshet vs. Excel for instance, and it takes a while getting used to a new way of doing things. Formula taxonomy is a very good example of this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Live interacion between various business users at the same time over the same data base.
Useful product allowing for management of business processes and tracking tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
like that there are automation processs that allow for seeking approvals through various departments/teams and also auto updating features to pre-populate fields using data shuttle. it removes the need for manual changes across various forms/sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
restricted functions compared to excel, even though the sheet is similar to excel. Need to constantly go in and out of different pages to activate automations data and data uploads, the user interface should be improved to allow for actions to take place in the sheet that you are on.

We are currently using smartsheet to manage approval processes.
An amazing experience with Smartsheet.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things i like about smartsheet is that its quiet reliable for various collaborations and for managing a project effectively. Its an easy to use feature with unlimited sheets to work on. Personally i feel this platform is backed by all the control and security IT requires where I can just give solutions for any problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the disadvantages i feel is that it incorporates very less amount of third party tools and functions, which somehow limits the user functionality.The other con i personally feel is that the smartsheet mobile app is inadequate because the people using the app on phone would face some difficulties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me smartsheet is quiet helpful in managing my work calendar. It is helping me to smoothly share the files and communicate easily for improved teamwork while managing a project. While managing a project I can also customize tools accroding to my requirment and share it with team mates.

What do you like best about the product?
The forms which are easy to develop for employees to fill out their information or for surveys. Like that you can see cell history and recieving notfications when a task is due.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't have tabs in the one sheet (similar to excel).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a data base that keeps all confidential information secured and in one place. Central place for all of our forms and projects.
