Smartsheet is great! the constant license changes are very annoying
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work on an online spreadsheet, the resourcing function and the dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
The license changes are a bit much, other than that it works perfectly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet for resourcing and it is really great! we also use smartsheet for our implementation projects and cross collaboration with firms during the implementation projects which really works well.

I like how it keeps a log about everything we put in, and we could go and check ourselves.

I like everything about Smartsheet i like how it keeps track of all records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That i don't have to be writing everything down in a piece of paper it keeps all our records without having a lot of papers laying around.
I like Smartsheet because I see it as an improved Excel!! 2.0

It is very helpful but it does require a lot of up front learning to make it effective.
What do you like best about the product?
how cohesive it is. having forms/sheets that feed into others makes it an easy one stop shop
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to learn how effective it could be because there are so many features that go unnoticed unless formal training is provided, and even then it requires a fair bit of trial and error to determine what the best route is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us cut down on how many places we need to input the same information. It is also helping us track who is in charge of what phase of project life.

What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative environment allows users to work simultaneously, which facilitates real-time cooperation. Additionally, it features automation tools and workflows that optimize processes. It offers various views that adapt to the different needs of each project, providing flexibility and versatility in management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is high. The new subscription model eliminates the collaborative environment, which was an essential feature for our company. Another limitation is the ability to make bulk changes to the access permissions of the sheets.

Smartsheet helps us in tracking and controlling projects, as its collaboration and workflow automation features allow for efficient work and make it easy for the entire team to observe progress.

Great for managing projects, set deadlines and automatic reminders to alert people.

some features are very complex and not very user friendly

Since we manage multiple projects with various deadlines, this tool helps us keep track of everything and facilitates communication between the different teams involved at each stage of the process.
Smartsheet is Very Useful and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The Cross-Sheet reference function is extremely useful and has become an essential part of our daily processes. It always works in the background and is seamless when implementing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, loading sheets that contain a large amount of data can be very slow, occasionally taking up to a minute to fully open. This slowdown becomes even more noticeable when the sheet includes numerous references and automations running in the background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet serves as a collaborative, Excel-like platform for our company, delivering a broad array of features. In fact, it offers even more options than Excel itself.

I like that I can send reminder emails to me of items being completed and items not completed.

So many options, need more time to learn them all.

Smartsheet is helping us solve several operational and tracking challenges by providing a centralized, customizable platform for managing key workflows. Specifically, it allows us to:
Track invoice payment flow, ensuring timely processing and better visibility into outstanding payments.
Monitor employee lifecycle events, such as hire dates and upcoming review schedules, improving HR coordination.
Manage grant budgets and timesheet hours, giving us real-time insights into resource usage and ensuring compliance with grant funding limits.
(Soon) Track vehicle maintenance schedules, which will help us proactively manage our assets and reduce downtime.

Love SmartSheet
What do you like best about the product?
I love how versitile SmartSheet is with generating documents to workflows. I have created several of our PDFs that use to be emails to SmartSheet forms instead. It is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the finished form is updated, it is a little of a struggle to update the form in Smartsheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has reduced the number of PDF documents floating around in either email or teams messages and makes it easier to upload those documents to employee files without having to scan hard copies.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use, once learned the platform provides quick results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve of each option, i had to play with eah to get familiar, but once learned it's enjoyable.
