It's been a great intro into project management for my team
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Smartsheet is that we're able to manage timelines, tasks and deliverables with charts and lists. I especially like the ability to assign tasks and the ability to send forms for approval, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet can be a bit complicated to set up at times and not many of the members on my teams (their part time) have had the opportunity to learn how to fully utilize the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing that Smarsheet does for us, is that it allows the project to continue moving forward! Assigning tasks as we continue to work through a project ensures that the ball never drops!
Easy maneuverability around the worksheets.
What do you like best about the product?
Instictual use of of tabs and ease of use. Smooth transition for users of Excel over to Smartsheet but more features and user friendly. Implemeting crossover from previous Excel spreadsheets to Smartsheet is also nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel there are too many pop up suggestions and prefer to use search and help if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data crossover as wel as tracking and inventory.
A user friendly project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It allows for the creation and management of a project porftolio and contains plenty of example templates to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still some functionality missing. I struggled with some limitations regarding the filtering of data for a report, and after investigating some forums I realized it was a feature not included in the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us set up and manage our project planners which are then shared with all the team so they can update their progress.
Most comprehensive project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is a super versatile tool with a shorter learning curve. Specially the automation feature is useful to automate lots of tasks and communication.
The implementation was easy and customer support has been good to date. We have been using the tool for over 4 years now.

What do you dislike about the product?
For large datasets, there can be limitations for sheets and links. Also, the dashboard has limited charts and customisation compared to other visualisation tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us real time visibility of all the projects and day to day operations. It automates lot of our communications.
Good project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and there are loads of templates available to reuse and edit according to your requirements. The community forum is very helpful as well. I like the new AI features released.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have the ability to edit non-working days for individuals who are assigned tasks to complete via property settings. For example, I have a team of 6 who are working on a project and updating the same smartsheet, but I have no way of editing the working days if one person in the team is on holiday or sick, it is all or nothing and therefore I have to manually change the dates for any tasks assigned.

To have an overview of where team projects staus are at any given team, whether they are on track.

Not all colleagues find this easy, meaning they sometimes create their own sheet

A helpful tool that helps organize my work
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the automation tools, because they help me in my everyday work and reduce the amount of manual work. I use it everyday, it's very intuitive and easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there could be more posibillities when it comes to creating reports and also in the area of integration with other apps (like Slack).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can be easily in touch with candidates and managers, without sending manual e-mails. Everyone in the team can keep a track of the progress and check the status anytime they want.

Game Changer for Recurring Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to automate tasks based on input from different forms. It makes it easy to set up reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Obtaining support has been a little confusing and it could be that I haven't reached out in the right way. I was having issues with adding apps and it the instructions could be clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several tasks that need to be completed for Month End. The ability to set up sheets and reports to feed into a dashboard to see where we are with our tasks is very insightful.
Great for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been the best tool to use for collaborative documentation. Real time updates and controlled access has been very helpful for company-wide standards and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The features have increased in recent years, but additional conditional formating features would be helpful.

I use Smartsheet to track project schedules and goals.
