A new and interesting way to consolidate data.
What do you like best about the product?
The aggregation of data from a lot of different sources and the ability to easily see it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be clunky compared to Excel and makes sometimes easy tasks harder than they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking a lot of data and making it easy to find amongst our coworkers.
SmartSheets make it easy to assign projects and track progress.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows consolidation and organization of information for ease of use, progress tracking, and interdepartmental collaboration on complex undertakings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to take advantage of all the features, many of which can be easy to miss (still easier than Excel). With some team members making unwelcome edits, I would also appreciate version control tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet allows me to readily delegate tasks to my team with all the supporting documentation attached directly to the relevant line items.
Enabling our team to collaborate more effectively, remotely
What do you like best about the product?
Our team can collaborate across the US without concerns of overwriting each other's work and seamlessly. Our established sheets ping the right person or people when action is required and we can effectively and transparently follow up on those calls to action. I have especially liked the way the sheets can be engineered with rules so if it's completed one way, this happens and if it's completed another way, that happens. We don't have that with other spreadsheet tools
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve to understanding the platform and frankly we're not getting all the features from the platform that we might if we had more time to understand other tools and best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're pretty much an entirely remote team so having transparency and clarity around task management is essential. Smartsheet takes away the guessing and keeps us all effectively aligned immediately with updates and clear status.
Very intuitive and helpful features and tutorials but still have a few useful features missing
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of Smartsheet is the autonomy that it offers a large group project. A common issue with using other project tools are that it is difficult to keep the integrity of the document while allowing many users edit access. I also like the ease of use so it is easy for new users to pick up since it is quite intuitive. There are also many features that are helpful in tracking and notifying users of upcoming tasks and their progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Support seems slow to implement new features and solutions that are being requested in the forums and smartsheet community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to easily track dependencies with its successors/predecessors function and helps us easily identify a critical path to completing our project on very high levels and then also granular levels. Smartsheet also helps eliminate noise between the plan and the users by connecting directly to their emails and allowing us to send clear communication to the correct target audience
A Powerful Software, Needing Some Tweaks!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of Smartsheet is its flexibility and ease of use. It's great for managing complex projects because it combines the familiar feel of spreadsheets with powerful project management tools like Gantt charts, task dependencies, and resource management. The collaborative aspect is another big plus—teams can work together seamlessly with shared sheets, comments, and real-time updates
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the more advanced functionalities, like reporting, resource management, and automation, are locked behind higher-tier plans, making it pricier for smaller teams. The customization options for dashboards are somewhat limited, and the mobile app isn’t as robust as the desktop version, which can make managing tasks on the go a bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its reporting and dashboard tools provide a high-level overview of projects, helping you make informed decisions quickly. Additionally, the integration with other software makes it easier to centralize information.
A great collaboration spreadsheet to hit all your deadlines
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to sincronize emails and slack notifications when you change the status of a line item.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found any limitations for the work I need to do.

We write support articles and we need several users to review and correct them before sending them to production.

What do you like best about the product?
The quantity of automated processes and tracking for task and projects in complex environments
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not an app for MAC OS like the one we have in Windows

We have a complex organization across the differents sites, now we can track the projects and the pending tasks in an effective way
Smartsheet Review - Medium sized business - High Usage
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is used in conjustion with our MRP, can be used with excel. Sheets can be shered with customers and suppliers. Can be tailored to indidicuals and business. Very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited capacity, we have to create several master sheets as limited memory per sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MRP, Production planning, cost analysis, sales.

What do you like best about the product?
I have a small team of researchers working with me on a research project. Smartsheet helps me to coordinate efficiently and in real time along with assigning work to different individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be improved a little to incorporate diverse audiences
