A great collaboration spreadsheet to hit all your deadlines
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to sincronize emails and slack notifications when you change the status of a line item.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found any limitations for the work I need to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We write support articles and we need several users to review and correct them before sending them to production.

The quantity of automated processes and tracking for task and projects in complex environments

There is not an app for MAC OS like the one we have in Windows

We have a complex organization across the differents sites, now we can track the projects and the pending tasks in an effective way

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is used in conjustion with our MRP, can be used with excel. Sheets can be shered with customers and suppliers. Can be tailored to indidicuals and business. Very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited capacity, we have to create several master sheets as limited memory per sheet.

MRP, Production planning, cost analysis, sales.

I have a small team of researchers working with me on a research project. Smartsheet helps me to coordinate efficiently and in real time along with assigning work to different individuals.

I like how it can summerize information and send it directly to your email. It is easy to use and read and share information with others.

Searching for information can be challenging to locate what you are seeking sometimes.

Can be tricky to understand unique features that make Smartsheet the best chocie compared to other well-known products like Asana and Monday.com.

People who don't like spreadsheets might take a while to warm up, as that is the primary tool used to build out any given template/project/workspace.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me personally, it' sa one-stop shop for complex data management, personal and work tasks, organization, project management, and forms. My organization utilizes Smartsheet for our marketing calendar, which I'm a user of, as well as a hub for updates regarding our new CRM implementation, user stories, and so on. My team uses Smartsheet to coordinate adminsitrative task assignment and tracking. All of this is benefitting our productivity and asynchronous task completion. This is also helping visualize data, timelines, and build dependencies easily.

The ability to easily link pdfs to spreadsheets without an insane manual system

Smartsheet is user-friendly and accessible to teams of all technical levels. Users can be easily onboarded. Real-time data collection makes it much easier for collaboration, avoiding continuing excel data consolidation with every data updates.
The no-code environment allows users to automate workflows without programming knowledge, in addition the function of workflow, update requests are easy to use and improve collaboration and process automation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet offers many templates and tools, but customization can feel limited, especially for advanced reporting or custom workflows.
When there is some unique requirement, for example, the report filtering criteria cannot be saved as variant, so one has to switch back and forth on the same report data for various use cases. Small issue with available workround, but that's one kind of inconvenience one has to live with.
Dashboard, resource management all have some level of limitation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet for weekly team update, that is easily to have assynchronized update to the sheet, with cell level change history tracked. Automated workflow can be sent to everyone to remind for the data input.
We also use project plans which integrates with the resource plan to monitor project info.
We request all project managers to provide the project udpate in the same format, so the information can be easily aggregated.

My Smartsheet experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's practical and easy to use. It allows me to personalize my sheet based on my needs as well as export the sheet on an excel file and do reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does allow the use to integrate the cards updates with the sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, it allows my team to see the different projects I have at this moment as well as their status, I mean in what step of the process that project is right now. It also helps my overseas team see the different information about the project and be updated in real time.
