Powerful, flexible project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a versatile and user-friendly project management tool that excels in flexibility and collaboration. Its spreadsheet-like interface makes it easy for users to adapt, especially those familiar with Excel. Overall, Smartsheet is a solid choice for teams looking to improve their project management efficiency.

Maintainability. Hard to debug issues with links and automation when it arrises.

Communication and sharing of project information.
Great for organizing sensitive business data, accessible by all employees
What do you like best about the product?
As a company that manages the lives of high net worth individuals, there are a lot of moving parts that keep multiple households running. Smartsheets is the perfect secure, central, accessible-by-all employee platform to store data and work on projects concurrently. Incredibly easy to use (even for those who aren't tech savvy!)
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I know, you can't complete 2FA with a phone number, only email. Sometimes that can be frustrating. Also, I wish it would recognize/trust my work device to stay logged in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit smartsheets has provided our company is the ease of use and accessibility by everyone. Those who aren't as technologically advanced don't need to worry about navigating the complex UI of Microsoft Excel, and don't need to worry about locating or accessing their Google Sheets.
Easy and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
It is Easy to maneuver and provides helpful webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
it does take a while to get things set up .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to write down every detail about all the projects future, past and present.
As an accountant and experienced Excel user, Smartsheet has neat features not available in Excel.
What do you like best about the product?
Easily sharable by defining workspaces and the way the columns are defined and are automatically frozen as you scroll down
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a new user and a longtime Excel user, so learning the features that come second nature to me in Excel is taking some time.

Keeping track of multiple engineering projects. We are starting to implement Smartsheet in time mnagement and financial capacities also.
A Versatile Construction Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage all of our data on a single platform allows us to gain insights into areas of opportunity and support both as an organization and as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is complex for simple costruction management needs, which can become too complicated for new users. Its interface, can become cluttered, making it hard to track tasks efficiently for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track everything under one tool, gives us more visibility about the project and tasks.
SmartSheet looks great, but its expensive and hard to tech to users with limited knowledge.
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet looks excellent, both inside and outside the desktop application. My information is always presented cleanly and precisely. I especially appreciate the import/export feature's ease of use. For someone with PM experience and knowledge of reporting and spreadsheets, it is an easy tool to get the hang of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one main downside of SmartSheet for me is the cost compared to other platforms. Other issues that I have received feedback on include an overwhelming interface for users who are not as tech-savvy, limited customization on templates, which makes them unusable, and slow performance with larger data sets.

Providing a central ocation for our information.
SmartSheet is just Smart!
What do you like best about the product?
I think the distinguishing feature for Smartsheet is the automatic updating of dates for downstream tasks when the date is changed for a linked upstream task. HUGE timesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
It still feels somewhat "heavy" for colleagues who prefer a more colorful/simplified GUI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Smartsheet primarily for Project Management of new product GTM endeavors.
Great for collaboration - could use some better filtering options.
What do you like best about the product?
This was really great to have before our organization went to Office 365. It was so much easier for collaboration with multiple staff members, and even with people outside of the organization. I also like the form building options available to track project submissions, event registrations etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Real time updates when multiple people are working on the same sheet can be a little difficult and requires frequent refreshing - it's easy sometimes to step on other people's work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Smartsheet solves is being able to collaborate in near real time with other users on the same sheet. Previously we had to have a Excel document that was housed in a shared drive, which wasn't ideal
Project managment easy to learn powerful to use
What do you like best about the product?
Functions are were i expect them to be. The processes are intuitve. The graphics are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet reminds me of missed deadlines.

Admin work consists of many task in parallel. Resources need to be distributed for this you need a good overview. Many task have dates (renewal, ordering, monitoring) the reminders and available automation make this easy
